It's funny. A year ago, I would never ever have thought that I'd be writing pony stories, and actually be kinda successful. I always hated writing and anything of that sort. A year ago I spent all my time watching ESPN, as well as doing or playing anything sports related (especially football and baseball, in which I played on my high school varsity teams).
Now... this.

Anyways, thank you all for being insane enough to watch me. I actually do really appreciate it.

Fattymagee1, you can't think like that when writing a fic! You are very skilled, but things like that can damage your writing.
When writing, make it feel like you are writing the best thing in the world and after, make it feel like total garbage when proof-reading it. Then, once that is finished, make it feel like an achievement to be proud of so then you can use it as a boost when writing another story.

Whenever I write, I always feel like it's the crappiest crap in the world I'm writing, and a chore. I only do it because I'm really bored and have nothing better to do most of the time.
And once I submit it, I always expect like 100 thumbs down and no thumbs up, and a visit from the Train Wreck Explorers.
Go negativity! It seems to work well for me apparently somehow. Even though I think my stories are garbage, I guess most other people don't for some reason. Go figure.
And seriously, I'm not skilled. Anyone could write what I write. I'm nothing special. I honestly think I would probably do worse if I had a positive attitude, because then I'd actually have an emotional attachment to my writing, thus actually care if it gets a bad (or good) response, which would probably lead to decreased quality of writing.
