Happy First Day of Spring and New Season of MLP · 10:01pm Mar 20th, 2018
For those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere, which I know is most of you, today's the first day of spring. If you happen to live in Australia or somewhere else in the Southern Hemisphere, then happy first day of autumn XD.
Spring's always been my favorite season for a number of reasons, largely because I've never been a big fan of winter's cold and snow. It's nice having warmer temperatures and the nice scenery spring has to offer as well as summer to look forward to. I'm psyched. 
Also, as I'm guessing most of you know already, season eight of MLP begins this Saturday. As always, I'm excited to see what new adventures lay ahead for our beloved pony characters. It is kinda weird to think that the series is going on eight seasons though, I remember when season two began back in 2011 I believe. It's been running a long time now, and while the series and fandom have certainly changed since the early days, as long as there is still a show and a fandom my heart and dedication prevents me from ever leaving. I'm guessing many other members of the fandom feel the same way. For many like myself, I feel like once you go pony, you can never go back. 
Anyway, bring on spring and the new pony!

Man, every time a new season comes up, I legitimately get excited for the 5th season coming out, only to remember that more time has passed than that and it's now season
