News, Updates and CMPC prequel post · 2:41am Jun 30th, 2017
Hello all my wonderful fans (and anypony else who reads this blog post) how has your summer been going so far? Mine has mostly been long, annoying, and annoying, but has had its good points. Anyway on to what I have to say.
First of all, news:
Sadly, it might be a bit for another chapter of Long Live the Queen. (Not 'too' long, I plan on trying to get one out mid-July at least.) This is in part because of Crystal Mountain Pony Con, which is from July 6-8th. My best buddy Anna and I will be heading down there early, and are planning on visiting the Hogel Zoo to spend time with her little niece. During this time, I will have very little internet/computer access (mostly because my computer is getting a little on in years and taking it on a trip might just be the final nail in the coffin...) but I will have a notebook in which I will be working on future chapters.
In other news, I have 'kind of' two new stories I have been working on for you! The first will be updated very sporadically, as it will be the clop chapters for Long Live the Queen. Some I will label as canon, others just random bits/chapters I wrote for the heck of it. This has two chapters right now, one some of you who have been reading for awhile might have already seen (before I rewrote parts of the chapter to keep it teen), and another chapter that focuses on our favorite sidekick duo, Lucky and Fire! (So we will be 'going back in time' main story wise.)
The other is a brand new story, that I mentioned earlier in a previous blog, called 'The Protector'. This one will likely have no changelings, ( 
) instead it will focus on a different 'evil creature', a timberwolf, and an earth pony mare. Together, an ancient prophecy will be cast upon them as they battle to keep the world safe. This one is a lot different from what I have written previously (well besides the age old love story kind of deal) and will take place mostly in Hollow Shades and the forests around it. As such, the majority of characters will be OC's, though canon characters will be mentioned. (And, if anypony has a sharp eye, who has read Long Live the Queen, they might be surprised on seeing a character from there. 
Though the character is older than they are in LLtQ.)
Lastly, some of the CMPC news. This year, I plan on having two outfits. My Chrysalis one from before (though slightly altered as I continue to work on making it better,) and Silvered Whistle. (Shiny's R63 self, for those of you that haven't read my clop fics. 
) Mostly I'll be doing the r63 version because as crazy as it might seem, it is HARD to find pants in Shiny's colors. 
The Silvered costume still needs work, so it won't be perfect this year, but for an Equestria girls version of her, shouldn't be too bad.
Also, if I can catch a snippet of internet for a few minutes at least each day, I will be posting a chapter of each of the above mentioned stories for each day I am away at CMPC! I will start on Wed., July 5th with the clop version of chapter 13 of Long Live the Queen, July 6th will be the chapter with Lucky and Fire, and then July 7th, 8th, 9th and possibly so on(depending on internet) I will post a new chapter every day of The Protector.
So everypony, look forward to a lot of ponywords from me come the new month!
