[REPOST] [FANFICTION FRIDAY] For the Swarm... · 4:06am Jun 12th, 2017
I already tagged the DTT fans, so this repost is for the LLW Swarm:
As I'm already considerably late getting this poll posted (it was supposed to go up Friday morning) I'm leaving it open for a full 48 hours as opposed to 24 like usual, so poll will close on Tuesday night.
Also, I've decided to modify the voting slightly: If one of these fics gets picked more than twice in a row, it's removed from the voting for at least one FANFICTION FRIDAY. Some of these fics have been languishing for years, gotta show them some love, too!
As an amusing side note for my Swarm of LLW fans, I was driving down the 17 freeway a couple days ago when I heard a clanking-squeaky-rattle coming from outside my van. I turned my head, and off to the side, exactly how I imagined in my head when writing Chapter 1 of LLW, was a large 18-wheeler. I repeatedly shouted, "NOPE!" and hitting the accelerator and changing lanes to get further away. I am not going to tempt fate by writing my own death and doing nothing about it when I wind up in the same situation IRL.

A space marine on a doomed troop transport launches himself into the void of space in a stasis pod, only to wake up on a planet with multiple sentient races with no means of contacting Earth.

...Welp, it's probably a long shot, but I'll vote for it anyway.
Interestingly enough there was a newtype anime magazine that had nothing to do with futa... and yet the first and only issue I picked up included a DVD with Kino's journey.
The only one of your fics I've read was Little lost wolf... I may have read the Ranma one until the irremovable clothing issue in the bathroom before I was turned off. The premise is funny, just odd.

Well, that is kinda why I introduced the new rule about "back burner-ing" fics that have won the poll twice in a row. Gotta give the older works some love, too!
