So I'm on a website called Deviantart and they have this thing where they send you a birthday message on your birthday because when making an account you just put the day and month of your birthday and it then sends you a birthday message when it comes around.
However for reasons I'm not fully clear on at 11:30am 27th of may today's date in Australia I got a birthday email message from Deviantart wishing me happy birthday... when it ISN'T my birthday.
Is this something that has happened before to other Deviantart users before and is just an error on the website's part?
I'm really hoping it is because the only other alternative idea is that my Deviantart account has been hacked giving someone else access to it so they've changed the date.
I can't change the password either because I don't have a core membership with Deviantart so it's a feature I don't have.
Please tell me it's just an error and nothing more, that someone else aside from me has gotten this error before.
You should be able to change your password. It is username you can't change without core.
No idea. But it IS my birthday on the 29th.
Like Blaze said you can indeed change your password, I myself have changed my more then a few times, and I have never been a core member.
At least check your account to see if your birth date is right or wrong.
