Have you ever seen someone in a complete state of bliss? Just total, unadulterated joy?
If you have, keep that image in mind as we start to wind down Old Fashioned Love. I'm trying, slowly but surely, to paint the picture that those two kids are just so content in being near each other, they could survive off of just that.
I've deliberately been keeping their relationship PG-13 so far, and the skinny-dipping scene is probably the most racy thing the two have done, but there is going to be a moment when they pass that threshold. I've laid the groundwork and I've set things up so that when they decide to do something like that, it'll be in a place of trust, love, and not a minute before it's appropriate.
Hence the title. AJ is an old-fashioned girl, and Dash is fairly new to the whole wooing scene. A nice, slow simmer just seems right to my mind.
Oh, and expect an homage to Fall Weathered Friends soon. You all know what scene I'm talking about.
