OH GOD WWWWHHHHYYYYY!?
THE 4TH ED THIS WHOLE TIME WAS AKATSUKI TRYING TO GET A GOOD LOOK OF HIS FATHER!
WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME SUNRISE YOU RIP MY HEART APART AND STOMP ON THE REMAINS!!!
...it was really good....I'm gonna miss this show......PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEASON 3!!!
I know.......
4481318 please let there be a season 3!!
Actually I hated this ending and thought it was underwhelming, disappointing and boring. I literally lost interest in the show and thought it was rushed as hell.
Edit:Also I really started to dislike IBO starting with this second season, so much promise, wasted potential. At least 00 had a proper conclusion. Thankfully we have Twilight Axis to look forwards to.
4481735 I understand your opinion I think the Hasmail arc went on to long for it to matter but still like the ending seeing the Barbatos head hung up by a sword is heart breaking.
4481780 Yeah, because Mika finally started to develop as a character and express an emotion more then mono tone boredom. Seriously I think Mika is just boring to watch.
Also a lot of Season 2 went on too long, the Earth Branch arc could've have been 2 episodes, the pirates only needed to be 1 episode long. Also the season just did stupid things. Why did they need to bring Gaelio back, it felt so pointless. Why did have to even introduce the mobile Armor if you weren't going to do anything with it. Why is Bael so fucking pointless and disappointing. Did we really need so much on this love side plot, it's way to dragged out.
Ugh.
4481793 he expresses a lot more than Setsuna and Heero, he called out Hush for annoying him, he out right shows affection to Atra and confims a romance unlike the previous two.
Gaileo did have a point, he craved vengeance and challenged Mcgillis.
The pirates were too establish Mcgillis working with Tekkadan. But i agree could've been done in one episode.
The earth branch arc were to establish Rustal and his abilities as a villian. But i agree could've been done in 2 episodes.
The Hasmial was too give backstory to the gundam frames and the calamity war and show off why the gundam frames are called Legendary. But it should've been two or three episodes not five. It and probably set up for a prequel or something.
Bael being overhyped is kinda the point it was an old symbol of a mobile suit, more a representation of ideals then a weapon symbolizing Mcgillis and the flaws of his cause.
And at least that love side plot went somewhere instead of the relationships ending on "will they or won't they" like in gundam wing, seed,00.
I'm not gonna force you to like Ibo but if you gonna bring up points I'm gonna fight them, but there are flaws again some arcs go on too long some deaths are obvious (Aston), a lot of mobile suits don't get a lot to do (Ryusei go 4).
4481823 1. Wasn't that Rustal point though....to be a rival to Mcgillis. Wouldn't it have it made more sense for Rustal to kill Mcgillis in the end and to see some of the merit in Mcgillis line of thinking and thus why he brings the change needed. Gaelio is just fucking pointless here(and I swear was only here to sell toys).
2.Yeah...but IBO didn't have time for backstory on it's suits and the war, it just felt so added on and unneeded.
3.Yes, but guess what....now I think that if the last 1/100 IBO Season 2 kits is Bael...then that's a letdown and it's why it bothered me so much. It's a cool design, but they do nothing with it. Nothing is special and fails to sell me it(which is bad).
IBO disappoints me, no need for a clever analogue, could've done something cool, but it didn't.
4481831 I'm not gonna change ypur mind nor do i want to. Lets agree to disagree.
