    Soon!

I think I've used that blog title three or four times now.

Anyway! New chapter of Spectacular Seven is almost done! I was hoping it would be done this week so I could post it on Saturday, but I need to rewrite a scene. And that's before I edit it! And before Drakey edits it! The good news is...

    Ten Years, Still Here

I think back to my nascent days here, reading stories and typing out my own, hoping for the day where I could call myself a veteran of the fandom. My stories would be remembered and I would stand alongside authors like Pen stroke and Aragon.

And I look where I am now and go, ‘well, you got one big hit. Good enough.’

    Thank You

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe or spread the word for it. It really means a lot. Thanks to your donations and getting a little more on my first paycheck than I thought I would, I should be able to stay afloat again.

My Turn to Ask for Help

    Hello friends.

I'm trying to raise money for me and Amber Spark after we suffered an accident with a U-Haul truck. The link to the GoFundMe page is here.

End of the Month Progress: February · 9:53pm Feb 28th, 2017

Few blogs usually means I'm getting progress done! And hey, stuff got done this month! Get the results from February and what awaits in March below the break!

So, Sunset, what's this month's final score?

30,231. As of ten minutes ago.

Whooo! I did it! It got tricky this last weekend thanks to my archery competition and the homework I needed to do, but I crammed it in there! Almost two-thirds of those words went into Spectacular Seven. I missed posting chapter 14 last Saturday thanks to archery, so, you'll get that this weekend, along with a chapter of Across the Shimmering Sea! 1,500 words exactly went into the Sunlight Sliders Project. My part hit me like a flash of lightning, and I cranked those words out in a little over an hour. Quite fast for me.

I put about 2,000 words into my original novel, and 3,000 into Double Sun Daze! So guess what? Expect two chapters of that later in March!

Speaking of March, I've resigned myself to the fact that very little writing will be done. I'm going to go over the edits for Childish Killer and pick at chapter 3, and do the follow-up for the season 6 finale.

Finally!

Hush, you. I have enough content to keep you guys happy for most of March, but aside from distributing what I've already got, I'm going to be quite inactive.

Because Breath of the Wild is here on Friday! You don't know how excited I am!

Ahem, beyond that, April or early May will see the conclusion to the first volume of Spectacular Seven. Another chapter or two of Across the Shimmering Sea will be constructed, and once the edits are done and the story is a little more lined up, I'll make more headway into Childish Killer. I'll try to keep writing on my phone whenever I'm waiting around at school, but I'm serious when I say I doubt I'll do much this month. I'm not afraid of burning out, but I think this'll be a good time to recharge.

So, friends I hope you have a fine March! I hope you enjoy the coming chapters, and Sunset and I will see you in "To Where and Back Again."

Just in case, if you know anything that could be considered a spoiler for Breath of the Wild DO NOT TELL ME! NOT IN THE COMMENTS, NOT IN A PM! NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH!

Love you guys.

Glad to hear things are going well for you. I hope your recharge goes well and you have a great time with Breath of the Wild.

Double Sun Daze later this month

Oh HELL yeah. :raritystarry:

Breath of the wild is the next Zelda game... It looks pretty

Spoiled :trollestia:

Woohoo, double sun!

I'll wait for BotW. I'm more looking forward to FF12 HD since I got a PS4 for FF15 this Christmas.

I hear it's a Zelda game. And the game data size is 13.4GB. :trollestia:

Great progress this month, congrats! :yay:

Thanks for soon sharing most of those thousands of words with us.

YUSS! Across the Shimmering Sea this weekend. So awesome! /):rainbowkiss:(\ Albinocorn is best writer!

I am also excited for BotW! You know, the game has horses... that is relevant to us. I guess. :derpytongue2:Hope you enjoy it, and relax a bit.

Wow, awesome progress! I'm excited to read all of these words.

Dangit, Albi. You completely smoked me. Like, by over 10,000 words! What the hay?! :raritydespair:

That's two months you've outdone me. Sunset's helping you, isn't she? I once more demand you hand over your interdimensional teleporter so I can bring over Wavelengths Sunny to help me!

...yeah, I was rather shocked you blasted that out in a few hours including editing on Valentine's Day. :rainbowderp: You definitely get the top speed record for the Project.

Quite a productive month. Well done.

Are you getting BotW for Switch or Wii-U?

4440085 He does all the writing. I just stand over his shoulder and tell him when it's terrible.
It happens a lot. And since I built the teleporter, I get to keep it! And V-day turned out to be a very crappy day overall. Writing was the only thing that cheered me up.

4440152 Getting it for the Switch!

I'm trying so INCREDIBLY hard to not get too hype for Breath of the Wild! I've been burned before...:ajsleepy:

Fallout 4 I'm looking at you!

4440482 I've been hyped since E3. I can't not be. I know this game is going to be great!

4440881 well, I never said I was succeeding at not getting hype :trollestia:

Especially since I have never played a Zelda game I didn't like! (Although I never played Skyward Sword since I don't have a WiiU)

4440885 Skyward Sword is for the basic Wii. And it was a pretty fun game. The story was great, though the art, while pretty, doesn't hold up in some places (at least, they don't when I look at old screenshots.) A lot of the temples are pretty short, but they're really creative. It also has one of my favorite boss fights of all Zelda games!

Twilight Princess is currently my favorite, but I think Breath of the Wild is about to solidly knock it from its place.

4440928 Looks like I have two Zelda games to buy soon...assuming I can figure out how to get my Wii to me from my parent's place!

I can't decide between Twilight Princes and Ocarina of Time. Twilight Princess has a lot going for it, but Ocarina has the whole nostalgia thing.
We'll see if Legend of Zelda: Skyrim can knock it from it's pedestal! :rainbowwild:
