Update on Chapter 4

Of Shadows has finally hit twenty total ratings! It really means the world to me when someone takes the time to leave feedback. Thanks to everyone who has helped my story develop; your words help tremendously.

So it's been a while since Chapter 3 went live, and since then I've been working to finish the next. It's taken more time than expected because I've rewritten the majority of 4 from the ground-up; it was originally complete when 3 was published, but I wasn't satisfied with the pacing and how it contained some important scenes far earlier than I preferred in the plot. Currently, the chapter is about 75% complete, and will need some heavy editing, but I'm much happier with this second version. I hope it'll be worth the wait!

I'd also like to once again thank RuinQueenofOblivion for her gracious review of Chapter 1.

Hey, you're in no rush to get the next chapter out. I love reading your story, but don't feel obliged to rush it out for our sakes. I sit patiently in wait for the next update!

Aw, thanks! I certainly don't want to rush it, but I get a little antsy when I go long periods without any kind of update. Just wanted to let you readers know what was up, and that work on the story hasn't paused. I've tried my best to adhere to an upload schedule but unfortunately my writing style doesn't lend well to a limit like that, being prone to drastic changes and rewrites, as is the case now.

Chapter 4 will take some time, but it's all in an effort to ensure it's as high a quality as I can make it.

4439944 Like I said, I'm not going to kick up a fuss if you take some extra time to write it, as long as you go at your own pace and write it as you want Don't stress yourself out with an update schedule, that takes the fun out of writing! And when writing becomes a chore, the creativity and character of the story starts to suffer for it and that's no fun . So I don't mind at all if I have to wait, as long as you're happy, i'm more than happy!
