But that's not what I came to announce. I've come to announce that I have five new stories in mind regarding each of the alternate universes as seen in the Season 5 finale. I got a question from a user who asked me about my policies on favorites. I have read so, so, so many fanfics on FIMfiction. And yet, you only see 11 stories in my favorites section and 7 in my liked stories section. It's pretty hard to earn a spot in my favorites section. Only 11 stories have done so out of the hundreds of others I've read. And I only add stories to my liked section if I actually upvote them. I'm picky when it comes to stories I like, so not a lot stories are added to favorites or liked by me. Consider it a huge compliment if you see your story in my favorites. It's hard to get into my liked section, but it's even harder to get into favorites. The only reason there's less liked stories than favorites is because I just recently created that bookshelf to put those stories on a pedestal somewhere. Here's a few explanations for the stories in the favorites section:
A World Without Justice: by efug25g: I liked this story so much that it earned a spot in my favorites. Why? I have a few reasons that makes this story so great! I liked how the story is told in first person point of view by Starlight Glimmer. This adds more emotion to the story when it's coming from Starlight's point of view. This story hits some pretty high emotion points and the story being told by Starlight conveys the emotion spectacularly. Twilight is assassinated in this story and I know if that happened, intense anger and sadness would be felt by all of Equestria. The author understood that and everyone's reaction was appropriate, even though Blueblood was immediately sentenced to death. But I feel as if Blueblood deserved that punishment and it was appropriate for the story. So, congratulations on the story! Definitely has a spot in my favorites.
Bride of Discord: by DisneyFanatic23: I loved this story very much! You may just say I'm saying that because it's so popular (which is true, it is extremely popular), but I actually have explanations for liking this story. I love the humor in the story. It is well thought out and gives the reader a chuckle every now and then. I love funny stories! I love the approach with Fluttershy. I love her newfound bravery and her care for Equestria. She is willing to sacrifice her happiness to be with Discord for the rest of her life. It seems like a fate worse than death, but she's still willing to do it. I just love how Fluttershy is portrayed in this story. I believe the portrayal of Fluttershy here makes her shine as a character. However, Fluttershy isn't the only character who is portrayed beautifully. I love Applejack in this story. Applejack is so understanding, supportive, and selfless. Even though she doesn't like Fluttershy's decision, she believes Fluttershy has her own choices. She's even willing to give Spike a chance to win Rarity, even though she loves Spike. Applejack is just my favorite in this story. I love how Fluttershy is able to find the good in Discord and fall in love with him, even after what he's done. I also love how she no longer cares what anyone thinks about how she feels. It has a few really great lessons here: anyone can change, not judging someone by their appearence, and being willing to make a sacrifice. I think those lessons are great to teach. And the last thing I love is the reasons for the ships. The reason for Applejack crushing on Spike is reasonable here and the author just really understands how to explain her way out of the canon ships. This was extremely well-written and deserves a spot in my favorites!
At Your Wing: by Wyngs Triumphant: I don't have a lot of reasons for liking the story, but there is one reason I love this story and that immediately earns it a favorite. I love the obstacle. It doesn't seem like a lot, but the way everyone reacts to everything said is beautiful and so in character. This is a cute and well-written story and I love it! Great job!
Why ___ Is a Dumb Dumb: by Aqua Drops: This made me laugh so hard that tears started coming out of my eyes and not a lot of stories do that to me. That immediately makes it an exceptional favorite. Don't you think? 
Collapse Failure: by Winston: I think this is my favorite favorite... if that makes any sense. In other words, this is my favorite FIMfiction story of all time! Now, here's why: the story is haunting... but not with any weird over-the-top horror elements or any twisted grimdark versions of the characters. The story is simply haunting because it's so... real. This could easily be done just be a mistake in teleportation and this could slowly drive anyone insane. Twilight living through this frozen world of everyone she knows would be a very devastating effect to live through. Twilight's even started hallucinating proving that she's slowly getting more and more desperate as days go by. Or as days stay frozen. I just... have no words! Beautifully written, beautiful emotion, beautiful... ahh! Everything! Favorite story on FIMfiction.
Chosen Love: by Just A Random Pegasus: I love this story because it's just... amazing. The original characters are fun, the Pie sisters are portrayed nicely, and the Choosing Stone is just such a fun element to the story. I agree with the special somepony of each character and even the special someponies of the side characters. It is not rushed and sometimes it makes me laugh out loud! Great job to Just A Random Pegasus for this amazing story!
A Better World: by The Spirit of Evil: I love this story because of the lessons it teaches. I think it teaches amazing lessons that can actually be implied in real life and it's amazing! The adventure and the emotion is amazing and every character is portrayed amazingly! Everyone plays a great role in the story and brings it to life with amazing action and characters. Great job, The Spirit of Evil! Keep writing great stories!
Fall Apart: by Shimmer Shy: I think this is the ending that the comic of 2014 deserved. The Cutie Mark Crusaders should have confessed a bit later and Sunset Shimmer should've gone back to Equestria, so everyone can see how much Canterlot High actually needed her. This story is a beautiful telling of that ending. Everyone's emotion is realistic and this is a beautiful story. I love how the ponies in Equestria are so welcoming to her and how everyone is happy to see her. I hope that this story updates more in the future, so I can see what happens!
My Little Pony Friendship is Overpowered (Season 1): by ocalhoun: ocalhoun is giving the obvious solution of what could've happened to avoid a lot of tension! That's why it's a favorite. The conflict in the show can be easily avoided if every character chose to do these scenarios instead. Not to mention how hilarious they are!
Leave a Message: by calmcalmcalm: I love this story because something like this could easily happen in real life. Everyone wakes up happy and excited not expecting a thing and the next thing they know, one of them dies in a car accident. And it's over voicemail! Everyone is desperate to get ahold of Applejack. The emotion is amazingly real and heartbreaking and the desperation for Applejack is heart wrenching as well. I have no words for the amazing story and it's easily my second favorite story only to "Collapse Failure".
Lost for Life: by ShadowCrystal: Now, this is an example of an amazing story. I love ShadowCrystal's work on this story! The emotion is beautifully conveyed here and it makes the readers feel emotions along with the characters. Flashbacks make the story stronger and make better sense. Everyone is amazingly portrayed here and the love and loss is just beautiful. This was the first story I added to my favorites, so that makes it very special.
I hope it makes more sense now than it used to!
