I Need To Make Something Clear

I know I've been very absent lately but I still give advice to writers now and again as PMs. Lately there's been a problem which I need to remedy.

    My OCs are my own.
Characters such as Cascadius, Colonel Peregrine, Nancy, Blue Murder, Tybalt, Shadowplay, Tungsten and others.

    Putting My Webcomic Out There

Hi guys. Just to show you what I've been working on all this time.
Deviantart and Tumblr are a bit...let's say shaky right now in terms of putting your art out there and I've been looking for more specialised sites for my webcomic.
So I've finally got a Tapas page.
    The Tale Of Cao Aman

    27 Today And Some News

Hi everybody. Sorry I've been so distant lately.
Twenty-Seven years old today...and I'm told I still look seventeen. Don't ask me what my secret is, I'm just as puzzled, but not complaining.

So I've Heard About The Rings Of Power

So I'm actually quite looking forward to The Rings Of Power, the soon-to-be cinematic series based on Tolkien's Middle-Earth lore. The Lord of the Rings is probably my favourite film trilogy and, while it's debated to this day, I really enjoyed The Hobbit series.
And there's something I feel I need to say...

Your really talented in drawing, would be your Cutie Mark, no doubt

4419315 Thanks. That means a lot. :twilightblush::twilightblush::twilightblush:

4419318 You're welcome, maybe you shoud try color it. You're remember about the dream witth the drones I told you about? I plan to use that in the Fallout story with the homefront crossover

4419318 Would be that the pony finds a base where they are stored (They got produced but never saw action due the economical problems and that the military was made smaller) and activates them as Nearby US troops fight a lossing battle against KPA troops and the drones turn the tide in their favor

4419321 I find I'm not all that good at colour. I think it might just be my fear of making mistakes I can't erase.
I'm thinking of giving it a try later though. :twilightsheepish:
The drones sound good. Just make sure not to rely on too much tech. Sometimes the most effective and the most dangerous weapon in the world can be a knife at your back.
And above all, always build up the scenario.
You experienced this as a dream. Describe the emotions in detail, witnessing four innocent foals in the grip of agony as ruthless military factions apprehend them with the same level as dangerous terrorists. Fear, anger, despair. Capture it. Capture all of it. It's essential.
Still, I've seen Homefront: The Revolution on a twitch gamer channel, can't say I'm impressed. Glitch-galore and your allies never shut up.
If I were you, I'd give Spec Ops The Line a shot. It's very close to the chest.
Fallout's pretty interesting though. Stay the course on that one.

4419339 Of course. THe Homefront fic is set in the original game of 2011 but also takes elements of the Reboot Homefront the Revolution. Scotch Tape from Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons is the pony, got already permission from Somber

Aboout Dinky and the CMC, The story "The End has begun" is first Person from the Pov of the soldier but switches to Dinky's POV at Certain points of the story.

4419335 To be perfectly honest, war stories are never good if they rely on a black-and-white morality scenario.
That's where your strength lies in the World War fics, they've got balanced factions, good and bad on either side, that's what war is. Even for the KPA. Portraying one side good and the other evil is poorly-handled, even if it is North Korea. America isn't perfect, no country on earth is perfect.
What I don't get about Homefront is, if it's an alternate universe, why even it call it North Korea? Call it something made-up but that's what this scenario is. Made-up! Call it something wacky like Seona or Gorgoroth or Bastardia.
Otherwise it sounds like this whole concept was created out of a really creepy desire to kill Korean people and then tortuously contriving a scenario where it wasn't totally unfair!

4419343 I see.
POV is good but make sure to really put yourself in her horseshoes, as it were.
And make it clear when the story is changing to her perspective.

4419344 Thank you, i feel honored:twilightblush: About it the KPA, soldiers of the Korean People's Army have been known to execute children as young as five years old acoording to the wikia. The KPA soldier who finds Scotch Tape, used to live in South Korea before the Greater Korean Republic was founded and is Korean-American. Unlike the others, he dosen't kill children, and never believed in Kim Jong-un's messages. He is friendly, polite and ready to help those in need. He lives together with a woman whose soldier was a US-soldier that died when the invasion began and has a daughter. He tries to protect them both from being harassed, arrested or executed

4419413 sounds alright, but, if I were you, I'd just make him full-Korean.
It's sending an unfortunate implication otherwise.
As far as the setting goes, I realize the KPA as an organisation are unpleasant but you should still explore the possibility of those who break away from its malicious ways.
Remember South Korea would have still been around before the story begins, plenty of them wouldn't stand for what was going on.

4419423 I still plan that out, so changes are no problems. I came up what he is Korean-American as a member in the resistance is also Korean-American. I thought that the soldier knows a lot of the culture of America due that but I could also change that a relative of his was Korean-American or of American descent. And by the way, Given your drawing skills, I don't mind if you want to do some fanart of my fics:twilightblush:

4419454 Well, I'll see what I can do.
I generally find human fics a little confusing but I might at some point.:twilightblush:

4419478 You don't have to do it.:twilightsheepish: As I mentioned in my first fic with Dinky, a picture of her in her clothes or after she was altered would be nice, but it's your choise.

As for the story with Scootaloo you're reading and commenting, I thought the scene with her on the Speeder Bike and her time on Courosant would be worth a picture but it's your choise if you want to and which scenes are worth it:twilightblush:

4419487 Well, I can't make any promises but I'll see.

4419553 As I said, you don't have too:twilightblush:

4419553 if you want, I can tell you more in a pm about the story

4420176 okay until we meet again
