I never would have seen this without Present Perfect piquing my curiosity. · 7:01am Feb 1st, 2017
From this blog, where PP mentions the referral stats on his older fics.
Most of my fics only have blank referral links back to google, without any search terms. The most interesting thing there is the country of origin that the search came from.
But some of them...whoa. One of the best gems was from Crackshipping & You: Lunabelle, where the referral links led back to a chinese(?) site where there was some discussion going on. Google's translate function made it outright hilarious. Apparently there is someone on the other side of the world that thinks I have 'literary talent' but that my stories are 'hard to translate.'
But besides comedy, it also led me to a few things on reddit. I have to admit I never use reddit. So if it wasn't for this urge to go 'sploring, I'd never have seen any of this. One thing, however, sticks out from the rest. It is the absolute nicest thing I have ever seen written about something of mine. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback over the years, but this one really strikes a chord in me.
If you are the reddit user that wrote this, and you read this blog post, then I want you to know you made me tear up and I thank you.
Stay classy.

Yeah, the reddit communities usually have really good things to say about fics. :D
