It's been thirteen months since I posted my first story here on FimFiction. Man, where has the time gone?
I'll never forget what actually got me started on writing my first story. I was at a small comic show on some Monday in December. It was a show run by some friends of mine, and I had gone plenty of times, but there was special about this particular show; the creator of a comic book (Sons of Darkness), Marcus Currie, was there. I'll admit, I wasn't really familiar with his work, but I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to get an autograph from an actual, published series. I met him and he was a pretty cool guy. He was nice, chill, and autographed my comic. I talked to him for a while and, somewhere in that conversation (my memory isn't the best 
), I mentioned that I had been wanting to try writing stories for some time. He said I might as well go for it. Never know until you try.
After a few days of thinking about it, I decided I was going to do it. I had read fanfictions for a long time, but now it was my turn. No more waiting for stories I'd like. I'd make them myself.
I may have been new to the whole writing thing (and looking back at it, I think it showed ), but I knew what I was going to write about the moment I started; my favorite MLP ship, SpikeBelle. It took me about two and half weeks to write, and I had a good time writing it, but I hesitated to post it. I was afraid people would think it was stupid. However, a friend of had passed away while I was writing, and I decided I would honor him by posting it. After a few setbacks on getting, Sweetie Belle's Secret Hearth's Warming got posted, and the rest is history.
Thank you everyone who's given my stories their time. I really appreciate. Despite hitting a snag every now and then, I love writing, and I'll continue doing it for some time. I hope you all like what I have planned.
I meant to post a One Year Anniversary blog a month ago, but the tragedy that befell my family obviously ceased any and all will to write. However, I'm better now, and I think I'm ready to start moving again.
My current story is nearing completion of its first draft, and it will be finished soon after that. I'm not gonna put an exact date on when it will be released because at this point I don't want to tempt life to delay it again. Thank you all for being patient and I hope you'll enjoy it.
On a final note, since this is an anniversary, here are just some random facts about me.

1. SonAmy (Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose) (All versions. Games, Comics, and Boom versions)
-I've played Sonic games since I was a kid. Admittedly, I do think Mario series has the better games, but I like the Sonic series more because of the characters, especially because of Sonic and Amy. I love these two. They can be cute, sweet, funny and I just love everything about them. In fact, SonAmy was my introduction to all of FanFiction (that's a story for another day). Without SonAmy, I may never have gone in to any FanFiction.
Also, the Sonic Boom TV series is pretty good. You should totally watch and support it.

-Yu Yu Hakusho and Gundam 00 (I'm not really into anime. I haven't even seen anything new since Fairy Tail (Natsu x Lisanna btw))
