So You Wanna Take Over Equestria by Krushan
(Gore, Alternate Universe, Drama)
After claiming the seat of the Dragon Lord, Garble decides he will fulfill his promise to take over Equestria. Even when all the elder Dragons think his plan is a joke, or warn him not to go, he sets out with a small horde of teenage dragons. What he didn't expect to find was a purple pony, not too pleased with how he treated her little brother, standing in his way to glory.

Review
Garble sets out to attack Equestria and finds Twilight in his way. Twilight beats the ~~crap~~ snot out of him, but lets him live in the end.

This story has alright pacing, though it does get to feel a little bit longer than it is. It does not have many errors in the text, though, which is always a bonus. It seems fairly planned out, with just a bit of improv throughout the story, which works, and simultaneously does not work for it. The Tags work out well enough, but the "Gore" tag is a tiny bit over what it has; not that I'm saying it doesn't have any, though.

Score: 7/10 Recommendation: Intermediate.

Personal Thoughts: I decided to use "Intermediate" as a recommendation between "Worth Reading," and "Not Recommended."

It can be hard to move on after a loss. Twilight Sparkle can tell you that. After the loss of somepony close, Twilight has to deal with raising her three kids alone. One night, the youngest, Starlight Aurora, wakes up from a nightmare. Starlight takes Twilight back to memories she both loved and hated. Twilight tries to comfort her daughter in the best way possible.

Review
Twilight's daughter, Starlight Aurora, has a nightmare about Changelings. Twilight starts remembering her husband, and begins to cry. She then explains that big ponies cry too.

This story has surprisingly good pacing considering the size and topic. It has very few errors in the text, which is quite nice. It also seems planned out, with the perfect amount of improv. The tags also fit rather well.

Score: 8.5/10 Recommendation: Worth Reading.

Personal Thoughts: Though this is a relatively new story, the author chose the name Starlight before Season 5.

Twilight is given a choice about becoming an Alicorn, she refuses.

So, this story has great pacing for what the topic is about, which is nice. It has a couple places where the punctuation could be better, but not many. It also seems planned out enough to make sense. However, it could use an "Alternate Universe" tag considering how it deviates from canon.

Score: 7/10 Recommendation: Intermediate.

Personal Thoughts Except for the missing tag, and those one-or-two spots where the punctuation has possibilities, it is pretty good.
