I apologize in advance. It's late, and I'm rambling.
New chapters are in the works for Strange gifts. To be honest, I had originally intended the last chapter to be the last real chapter; the story having taken the span of a week. I have an epilogue already written to wrap the story up, and that was going to be it. But I decided there was just too big of a hole, though. There will be at least one more chapter. I have that about half finished at the moment. With luck, it will be published in two weeks. IT's going to be a bit longer that the other chapters too.
I kinda want two more chapters after that, but I'll have to see. This story WILL be completed before Christmas, even if I have to cut it loose and post the epilogue without exploring a few things.
I have a few short stories and one-shots in the works too. At least two of those should see the light of day between here and the end of January.
House of the Rising Sun will be coming back soon too, and I'm feeling a Sequel to Filling a Hole in the Sun. The latter will be pg-13.
Now as for myself.
For the last 2 years, I have been working a job that required me to live out of hotels for months at a time and travel all across the U.S. It was fun for a while, but the shine wore off fast. As of the 17th, I will be quitting my current job and venturing into the world of self-employment.
I'm a jeweler by trade. I made this a few years back. Though, I usually make stuff more like this. I also work on old watches. So if any of you are looking to buy jewelry, don't hesitate to PM me.
I'm going to be getting more serious about my writing too. Stress and a complete lack of routine has killed my word count this year. I intend to have dedicated writing time every day from here out, and hopefully you all will help me keep to that.
I did wire wrapping and beadwork for a time. Peyote stitches and whatnot.
I learned a bit of craft from my family and tribe.
That's a REALLY cool job you have!

4303413 I know one word in Lakota. Not sure the proper spelling, but it's pronunced hunt-a-yo. (That a sounding like the a in another.) It means, "you should dodge that dangerous thing coming at you."
We would say that any time a sales person we didn't like was coming back to the shop. We'd then make ourselves scarce: forcing the shop manager to deal with the sales person.
