Horrible? Hah! I doubt it. I love me a good war story and let me tell you, WW1 is so unexploited. I bet its great!

The only way that'd be horrible is if you somehow failed to include a version of Ypres where a ye-olden-timey knight belts out songs in middle English while lopping the heads off of Germans with an enchanted sword which harmonizes with him.

Sorry you were sick Somber. And I'm sure your WW1 Fantasy is gonna be perfect. Its very hard to make a World War based story become horrible. So I'm sure it will be great. Also I did a WW2 based story and its some what based on a movie called Fury and I think I might have did bad. But its not bad till many people give you thumbs down.
As a several-time NaNo completer, I have to say: If you're letting quality stop you, you aren't getting the full NaNoWriMo experience.

Flu got me, too. I took off three days sick, but I didn't want to burn up any more than 36 hours of paid sick leave (they're 12-hour days), so I'm working today. I was so pissed last night that I wasn't fully over it, I started flipping out and throwing shit across my room. I feel much better today. I think I scared the virus out of my body with my sheer, unfettered rage.
