It's the Most Wonderful Tiiiiime of the Year! · 6:10pm Oct 30th, 2016

I f***ing love Halloween. What a shame I can't afford to do anything this year. Again.

Ah, but I did get to do my annual visit with my cousins. Chatted, giggled over the three-year-old, had burgers. Oh, and played Until Dawn for eight straight hours. The whole game, new to all of us, all in one long sitting where we took turns making the big decisions, 'till we were tired and my cousins were trembling like leaves and we finally finished at 3 AM with only two survivors. It was awesome.

Then I had to drive an hour to get home.

Long drive through intense fog while halfway asleep aside, this was one of the better Halloween weekends in recent memory. Can't wait to see what we do next year!

Ah, but there are other things to discuss. Writing was largely bust this week due to overlong work days and a weekend stolen by holiday entertainment, but the good news is that I shouldn't have anymore major interruptions until Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can use that time to get a lot churned out. I have made a few decisions that may be considered unfortunate for my readers though. For one, I've asked a large number of people to preread my stories, but I can already tell that not all of them could keep up with my typical schedule. Since I absolutely do want these stories to be worthwhile and well written, I've decided to not post anything until I have several chapters complete from each story. That way when I do start posting, my prereaders won't be doing a sub-par job scrambling to keep up or miss out entirely due to my rigid rules.

I also have decided to keep my promise to myself and work on that original fiction alongside the Celestia one. My plan now is to write a Celestia chapter, then write the equivalent OF chapter. This means I'll have to lengthen the update time so that the two can keep up with one another. I learned my lesson with Lightning's Bolt: if I try to write the OF after I've finished the Celestia fic, I'll be disinterested and probably won't be able to complete it. The OF is far enough removed in content that it might not matter, but I don't want to take the risk.

But first I have to finish brainstorming it, which is proving a lot slower and more time-consuming than I expected. It's odd, I'm usually pretty good at that kind of thing. Oh well. Soon as I have that done, I can really get this show on the road.

In the meantime, does anyone know anything about the Review Round Robin group? I notice we haven't had a RR in a while and I'm starting to wonder if the entire event has died. If so, I'd love to get confirmation, as I've got a set of reviews that is just sitting there in need of publishing. Come on, guys, my horse words are languishing in obscurity!

Yours and mine both :derpytongue2:
Your weekend sounds much better than mine. I've been sick since… last Monday I think, and this weekend finally brought the transition from 'just of a runny nose' to 'I need to lay down,' which also means I've been going insane, having not written a thing :raritycry:

Oh, like you two have the right to complain about a lack of views. :ajbemused:

Luna kicking Freddy's ass. Yes! I love it.

Complaining is a historic pastime of the rich and the poor, the famous and the unknown, and everyone in between. That's not to say that it's a productive pastime, of course...

I assume Paul was being facetious, because I mostly was :raritywink:

So was I.

Facehoof- Luna does it right.
Luna does it for kicks...
Freddie has just realized how bucked he is.
Naw, Luna is just asking if Freddie likes Nu Shooz.
Luna's kung fu is strong.

One, two, Luna's got a new shoe;
Three, four; Freddie's gonna be sore;
Five, six; Luna's getting her kicks;
Seven, eight; Everything is great;
Nine, ten; The Nightmare will end...

:trollestia: I will defeat Freddie!
:twilightsmile: You're a little late, Luna already mooned him.
