Okay, I had the entire rest of the final battle of Marionettes written and was working on the epilogue...
When my computer had to restart.
I saved, but due to a computer glitch, apparently my doc program didn't get the message and I lost the entire next chapter I had written.
Words cannot describe the rage I am feeling right now.
I was VERY happy with what I wrote, and now its gone and I'll have to rewrite it.

I mean, one should probably save periodically while writing anyway, but once you're in the zone I guess that's easy to overlook. Anyway, you've given us plenty of words lately, so don't feel the need to rush it.
You have my complete sympathy. Because I've had that happen to me as well. Rage was a mild word for what I felt then.
I hope you can get a replacement chapter together. I know, sometimes it feels as though your inspiration was spent the first time, and you have that nagging feeling that "this isn't as good as it was before", but on the other hand you might actually produce something even better.

Well, if you saved, it was your computers fault, not yours. Still, a word of advice, using something like Google Docs whenever you can is a good idea in the future. I hope you can salvage the chapter soon, your story is so good it's left us aching for more!
