I've been writing for about 15 years now, and if there's one thing I want, it's to whisk my readers away into another world, where they can lose themselves in the fantasy.

    Chapter 9 has been rewritten!

Like before, please don't read below if you don't want to see the potential spoilers that may follow in the below change list.

    The Changelist:

-I readded the scene with Pinkie, but this time it went much differently. Still not quite sure why I had her leap on him before in the original...but whatever.

A Discord Group for my stories!

After some discussion with my editors, I decided to open up the Discord group we use to the public! For those of you who aren't up to date on a Wilting Flower, I wanted to put the link in a blog post so that you can easily find and join the group!

I look forward to talking more with everyone!

Chapter 7 has been rewritten! (Finally)

This one gave me a lot of trouble, as every little word seemed to resist me on its way out. Other times my motivation was at an all time low. I already stated it in the author's note, but I'll say it again here. The amount of attention these rewrites are getting is very little. There's nothing more discouraging than spending a month working on a chapter, posting it, and then getting maybe a

A Wilting Flower, Sequel to Tales of the Oppressed · 12:05am Oct 18th, 2016

Over the time I've spent writing the sequel, it's come to my attention just how little views and and comments the story has been getting in comparison to Tales of the Oppressed as it is currently, even at it's slow decline into obscurity. My editor and friend, ScootalooFTW, brought to my attention that this may be because many of my previous readers are not aware of the sequel's existence.

I'm inclined to agree with him, as multiple times, I've seen commenters on a Wilting Flower stating that they stumbled upon this story by accident, while others may have only found it due to being my followers.

Therefore, I would like to make this announcement that the sequel does in fact exist, and can be found here.

Do me a favor and give it a read and a comment!

Not gonna lie I stumbled across it a while ago after reading the original and put it on my read later. I caught up a week ago and really enjoyed it. Hope it gets more attention

I actually didn't know there was a sequel xD and I had faved and binged read the first one lol

I had no idea it existed! I'm heading there right now. Hoping it is a little faster paced than the first one. While the figbt scenes were fantastic, the character development was glacial. While I definitely agree that character changes should be gradual, the pace could be brought up just a tad.

I didn't know either. Perhaps you should remember to make a blog post when you make sequels from now on, because I don't remember ever getting a notification that you posted a new story.

i'm just waiting for a few more chapters(at least until 15 chapters are done)

that way i can have a small buffer for the story, so i don't get up to date to fast :)

I knew it was their it just didn't have the same feel to it so i stopped reading
