Look! A cute picture!
No, put down those torches, technically it's a delay, but not because something is getting in the way or keeping me from completeing it.
I finished it initially last night, but when i read it over i felt like the last scene was... lacking. So i scooted back from my desk and wondered if i could possibly spiff it up a bit/make it more than it was and voila, i came up with something that i think will make the chapter a HELL of a lot better overall in the last scene.
So it may take an additional day or two more. Just wanted to let y'all know since i implied it was close to release. it still is, but will just be a little later than expected. Trust me i think you'll be glad once you read it.
For now, enjoy this picture of Fleet comforting Dash.

That being said, I'm looking forward to it... obviously. And I think the pic up there is a little flipped. Shouldn't it be Dashy hugging Fleet?

Aw, man! JK, looking forward to reading when the new chapter comes out. And I love that picture. Fleet kind of comes off as a big sister to Dash at times, even in the show.
Could you include a quick summary of the original version of the last scene in author note section or somewhere? I'd like to know what was so unacceptable for you.

it was nothing that changed the plot or the sequence of events. By lacking i meant that it felt like it could be more than what i first ended up with, not that there was anything wrong with it. I am extending the scene to include more in said scene for what i believe will have more of the desired effect i was going for, that is all.
But i'll point out what i decided to add in the author's note
