The story will and forever stay at the teen rating alongside what is allowed of said rating for both the sex and gore tags.
I've added the gore tag since I realized today that the story should've had it from the start. The gore will not be excessive nor be described in graphic detail, but it will happen in a way that you'll fill in the blanks. This is just an initial warning for any current readers since I will also be posting this warning in the chapter that the gore tag will be applicable to.
I offer my apologies to anyone that this change upsets and turns away from the story.

4243611 It is. Just not been able to get the side story or chapter 15out yet. I mostly just stare at the document then close it after an hour or so.

Right now, I know all of the things that need to happen to get to the end of my story's first arc, but I've chosen to instead proofread my story for errors, which in hindsight hasn't been that wasteful of my time. At least I have words being thrown into my planning doc, even if they are just the rough idea of actions centered around or going to certain plot points in the next chapter.
Strangely, I've been feeling more focused lately. I'm cutting out all sorts of distractions I had laying around. Hopefully I can keep myself to this diurnal sleep schedule I'm on.
