    I wrote a thing.

Not pony. An angsty Satoko/Rika fic, from the franchise Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

The fandom overlap here is probably vanishingly small, but maybe someone will be interested.

New Owl House Story: Something to Share

I wrote a new story, as part of a Christmas fic exchange, for my good friend R5h.

Luz shares an important place with Amity; memories both playful and painful.

Amity learns from the past and mends something broken.

It's the best date they've been on yet.

    It can be found here.

For 'Heart of a Author' fans · 12:07am Sep 28th, 2016

Heya folks. Remember when I wrote crazy metafictional murder mysteries instead of stories about teenage girls kissing each other?

Seems like a lifetime ago.

I'm currently working on both with in the form of an original novel at the moment, but that's not the point of this blog.

If you're not already following ScarletWeather, you should be. She's been running a fantastic series of blogs on the history of the mystery genre, and delving deep into the specifics of it. All leading up to talking about and explaining Umineko No Naku Koro Ni in a way that hopefully makes sense to the layperson.

So if you like mysteries, or are interested in the crazy inspiration that drove The Heart of an Author in the first place, it's worth checking out.
