Okay, so I have a few ideas for one-shots that I thought I'd bounce off you lot, as I'd rather write something that people are more willing to read. (This is just a little side-project, for anyone worried that it will impede The Piano Man.)
Anyway, who would be interested in:
- A parody/comedy story staring the generic black-and-red Alicorn OC?
- A sad/dark story about a human who's catching glimpses of the ponies, and 'losing it' because of said glimpses?
- A random/comedy about the Mane Six trying to learn about computers/television?
- Something stupid involving Derpy and Pinkie causing mayhem around Ponyville?
- A generic sad/romance story, of which there is always at least one in the feature-box?
As you can see, I'm not exactly in-funds at the Idea Bank, but I'm interested in writing a little something.

If you pull that one off, you'll be a God in my eyes.
One-shots are great to do now and then. I use one-shots to get out of writer blocks and spur new ideas, and a lot of people like OS's better than series. I say go for it, cause as I learned, you never know when you'll hit a sweet spot and wrack up likes!
Either the first or second option, I'd say.
Although, the first one would probably take less words to pull off. The second idea, while more interesting, seems more appropriate for a slightly longer one-shot.
So I guess it kinda depends on how much you think you'll be able to write.
2 or 4 would be awesome, I love the idea of Pinkie and Derpy causing mayhem xD And the glimpses of ponies one sounds amazing

First, second, fourth and fifth all look fun.
three and four, maybe.
Using computers with hooves. heh.
Those two sound pretty good.
I like the Derpy/Pinkie idea. Could be fun
Go with #4 since that's the one I've seen the least of. Actually, I can't recall a story with both Derpy and Pinkie causing mischief at all.
#2 definitely sounds like an interesting idea worth exploring, In my opinion.
I say the third one. I'll love to see how they mess around our great, powerful technology equipment.
I'm okay with any of these except #4, there are way to many romance/shipping fics out there and another one of those would add to the ever growing shit-storm
