A Little Midnight Chat is still featured! It probably won't last all day, but still!
It has a like/dislike ratio of 96% as of right now, with over 200 likes! In only a couple days! That's insane for me! A Cupcake for Your Thoughts just broke 200 not too long ago after a month of being out. A Little Midnight Chat only took 2 days to do it.
A Little Midnight Chat is now my second most highly reviewed story on my profile. The most highly reviewed as of now is Sitting in a Tree (back in the popular widget btw) with 97%, and third place is The Apple of My Eye with 95%.
It's not the most highly reviewed story, but it's still insane that it got so popular so quickly. Again, it probably won't last. I guarantee you after I post this, it'll be off the featured list. As of now though, it's still a "hot" story.
I got surprised by a comment yesterday at 7:30 in the morning in Music Literature by RustyJoseph saying it was featured. I couldn't believe it! And for real featured! Not mature filter featured! I was so happy, which is a rarity for me in the morning. When I wake up in the morning, I'm cranky as hell.
Yesterday was a long, tedious day for me, with teachers that could talk your ear off like no other for 80 minutes at a time, but getting so much positive feedback on this story made my day.
Again, HOW THE MOTHER CRAP DID THIS HAPPEN???? 
I should write more Sunset Shimmer fics. Maybe this would be a good time to think about what to do with Colors of the Sun. As of now though, my plate is going to get extremely full extremely quickly. Today is probably the last relaxation day I'll have, because I've got librarian duties for choir starting tomorrow, as well as homework for my Tuesday/Thursday classes starting.
But you never know. I might just whip up a quick story on a whim again. Probably won't get featured, but we'll see.

If there was a sure fire way to get featured everyone would be. So there is no "oh this is what you did thing". You wrote some good stories and people liked them.
