Wrist/Health updates & Pretence · 9:34pm Aug 18th, 2016
As many of you know by now, my wrists have been hurting since may, making me unable to really write.
I've made a few blogs detailing how I'm improving and so on, but I've come to realise that I am simply recovering too slowly.
As a result, I've decided to put Pretence on a hiatus. I have no intentions of cancelling the story, as it is one I am proud of, and still want to see finished one day, but I would rather focus on just getting better rather than worrying about not putting out updates, and contemplating putting my recovery further ahead by ignoring my pain and just writing regardless.
So, for that reason, I'll put Pretence on pause. I can't promise a date when I'll get back to it, only that I will once I have recovered completely.
I'm sorry for the wait, and I wish I could do something to just make it go away, but sadly this isn't as simple as a broken bone where I have to wait X weeks and then it's better.

Take care of yourself before anything else. Better to get well first in as short amount of time possible, rather than pushing yourself and making the problem worse and taking even longer to recover. Besides, no matter how long it takes to update, we'll still be here.
