This is the final armor of Prince William will wear in the awesome Dream of Many written by WiseFireCracker in Chapter 12. This story have been one of the most original approach of the Human in Equestria trope along with all of his other great stories.
I also did the first rendition of William and the cover art for the story for which WiseFireCracker liked and so gladly accepted.
This is piece was so far my most daunting work that I have done so far. Like my last major piece this is well over 70 hours’ work of love that I have put into this that I have worked on and off for the past six months and was only finished about a month ago and had left me exhausted but more than made me even more satisfied in the quality of my digital work.
Like the previous Darkpath armor that I did this last month, it was part of a proposal that made to WiseFireCracker for his story so that he can be properly dress for the part of the different roles he will take. I also did the WiseFireCracker was kind enough to accept my offer for his story and integrate my idea in exchange for doing there digital art pieces.
The armor when though many alliteration but, the key elements that I was told about to follow was epic, over the top and gaudy, so I went through those themes all the way with. So, with that in mind I decide to go with a sort of pseudo Egyptian god thingy, and when with a sort of Protoss/Forerunner floating golden armor pieces with lots and lots of etch on the surface. Midway thought on completing the armors I decided to change the armor design, after noticing that my skill level in digital are art had gone a long way sense I did that “final design”. So I decided to go with my own gut feeling, which sometime also gives me a need to het gummy bears, and decided to go with more thick angular pieces of armors instead of the simple molded metal sheets that I had originally planned. The hard part of the work which was one of the main reasons that I hesitated in diving full in that particular work for a long while, and needed to practice how to draw that hard shine effect and not just my usual work which wasn’t that good.
My favored part of the armor is probably the whole head and neck pieces, and not to forget the wing pieces. The leg armor was not really changed as such. I have not though much about the background, as it was something that I made in about an hour, I do think it looks pretty do and was a lot of fun doing the sun/planet space atmosphere along with the twinkle stars.
All in all I think it is one of my best pieces, and has helped me push my digital skills and my subsequent works show that, I believe that it shows. I am looking forward to see what other works will inspire me in going further in my art.

For your request of doing a cover art of your story I would suggest that you provide me what you need as early as possible; I don't know how soon I could get around to draw it, and a good margin of time to work on it would help.

4126107 I've been getting ready for college and thinking a lot about stories. I've been trying to write but it's been kind of hard to get started. If I can just get an opening down then I can write something and get back to it. That's beside the point though. How are you?
4126109 Things are looking better for me, I finally live on my own again now, in a bachelor room; I mist it so much. I'm still getting better in my digital art, I don't need to actually sketch on paper any more, saves me a lot of time on work, and I don't use line art any more.

4126151 Thanks I have a backlog of cover art that I haven bothered to show yet on DA, which I am planing to show them one by one every few days or so. I am also planing... well more like hoping to get into the habit of posting a blogs for every new work that I have done on FIMfiction, I have just been really too down these past few months to get around to do this yet. But my spirit is finally getting up again, so it might become a habit sometime soon.
