A Preview of Ch. 8 · 6:38am Jul 24th, 2016
What's up everypony?
So with Ch. 7 of EQG:LFD complete, I figured I'd give ya'll a little preview of what is to come for Ch. 8. But before I do so, I just want to know something first. What is your general opinion of how the story is so far? I know the last chapter kinda made a few people upset, though I never intended to do so. The reaction that I saw actually made me get to the point of where I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue on with the story. I actually had to decide via a coin flip. Obviously, it landed in favor of continuing on.
But this time, I'm actually gonna take my time with this next release so I can put more focus toward some of my other stories that have been neglected, so don't expect Ch. 8 to be released as quickly as the others have been. But that doesn't mean that I can't give ya'll a preview of what's to come. I'll be putting it with a spoiler cover for those who don't want it to be spoiled for them.
So in this next chapter, we'll see the group try their best to fend off this massive horde of infected as Principal Celestia and Applejack struggle with getting the engine of the Lifeboat started. We'll see the appearance of not one, but two smokers, a spitter, and a jockey along with a discovery that will surprise each of our protagonists. Also, and unfortunately, not all of the people on the Lifeboat will make it out of there alive as two of them will fall, one will fall early on while the other will fall after the bus gets started once again.
So that is all that I will say about this upcoming chapter. Like I said, don't expect it to be out anytime soon as I will be putting more focus into my other stories that have been on the backburner lately.
Full steam ahead, my fellow bronies and pegasisters.

Ohmigosh your stressing me out with the tension, who's gonna die? I'm excited and terrified to find out. Also, I think your story is absolutely amazing. I know some things that happen, like a character death, can get people upset. But I think that the death of a character is more realistic in a zombies apocalypse. The sad truth that not everyone is going to survive till the end. Having to decide whether Flash would die or become human again was tuff, but I think him dying was definitely a good choice. Possibly helping Twilight realize that this zombie-apocolypse isn't jolly ol' Equestria.
I'm bettin on Soarin and Spitfire dying. They feel like Red Shirts
4109824 Having Flash die wasn't really what upset me. It was everyone's lack of compassion towards Twilight's feelings for him and Harm using Flash's movie screentime with her to justify their decision.
Not to mention robbing Twilight of her chance to do away with him herself. It would've been an act of love.
I'm really enjoying your story so far. It has good and weak moments, but that make it more believable in terms in world reality.
I'm sorry to hear that some people had some pretty harsh comments over Twilight foolishness, I have also pointed it out myself, but I like it because it was appropriate. Twilight isn't perfect. She still naive and her title of hero doesn't help her seeing when she's way over her head just like in Rainbow Rocks.
As for your next chapter, well first off, don't worry for delaying it for wanting to advance your other stories, it's understandable and I'm patient. Secondly be careful who you gonna eliminate, some people do care to much for some characters, though even it is kinda expected to see people die in a zombie game/story, in Left 4 Dead I never saw a human die.

Except the ones infected. They were human once.
They didn't have to drag her down like that
I would love for this story to continue. Left 4 Dead is my favorite games of all time so obviously I would love to se this continue.... that and Payday 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5
Some people might hate me for his buti hope that the two that die are one or two of the main six.
