Honestly it doesn't look too bad so far. No writer has been announced for it as far as I can tell, so all we really have to go off of is the website information and this to make some speculations on how it might end up. Thankfully Twilight didn't hog the spotlight in the trailer at least. It seemed like Pinkie and Rainbow took center stage, mostly, but this is the trailer, so not like we can make too many assumptions off of it.
All in all I didn't hate it, so I guess I can't sprinkle my usually negativity into this. Then agian, I thought the shorts for The Friendship Games were enjoyable, so I can't help but be wary. Hope for the best, boys.
Since this post doesn't have my usual levels of parade raining, I think it's time to admit I don't really care for the main series anymore. Something about it has changed for the worst; it just isn't that sweet, down-to-earth, slice-of-life show about the characters I enjoyed so much anymore. I haven't really thought much about it, but when you compare episodes like Sonic Rainboom and Newbie Dash, or Applebuck Season to Applejack's Day Off, I think you'd see what I mean. Something just got lost over the years. Maybe it's the writing, maybe it's the characters, or maybe I've just grown too cynical to really enjoy this series anymore. Whatever it is, when I realized the newest episode is coming out next week, I just could not find it within me to care. This entire season I've been putting off watching episodes, and have found my mind drifting to other things while watching them, as if it was just some chore I had to put myself through. Sure, there have been two or three episodes I've enjoyed (though only one I'd say was really on par with most of my favorites), but when I get excited to watch other shows and treat this one like a chore I have to do to keep up with it, I think it might be time to move on.
That's not to say I'm giving up on EQG already. I'll give the new movie a chance, since I still have that unhealthy obsession with Sunset. That also means I'm not going to stop writing any time soon, just don't be surprised if she's literally the only thing I'm writing about. Not that a lot of you care what I spend my time watching, I just felt I had to say something about it.

I think it looks pretty cool... but again my question is the same is it just for Netflix or will it appear on TV a few weeks after its release ?
How odd I'm actually the opposite that I think the show is doing pretty well and while I will agree there are certain things I don't like, (Flurry Heart for one) I still enjoy what the show is doing. Now this is coming from a guy who hasn't been a brony since the beginning of the show in fact I became a fan around the time Twilicorn-gate happened, and I had no idea what the deal with that was at the time, so maybe I just haven't got that burden and maybe that's why I can accept certain aspects of the show while others can't like Starlight being part of the main cast even though she has only been like in 3 or 4 episodes this season (WTF! writers give Starlight more episode!) but on the flip side I HATE the EQG series mostly on premise alone i don't watch MLP for high school drama bullshit I seen enough of that with Sabrina The Teenage Witch growing up so I refuse to watch any EQG movie just because the whole reason it exists is so Hasbro can make the mane 6 to high school except it's not the pony 6 so they make them human and it just upsets me that they had to stoop this low for toy sales is to make them human and put them in high school and I just don't want any pat of it but I will say the fanfics and artwork is the only good thing about this series whether they are erotic or not the content from the fandom isn't bad but I refuse to support the main franchise sorry to ramble like this with grammer errors all over the place but i just wanted to voice my genuine opinion we might disagree on certain things but I do enjoy your work and I respect your honest opinion.
Okay, that's just not fair. You are comparing two good episodes with two bad episodes among good episodes. I see your point and it's okay, but it's not a good example.

If they were actually among good episodes I wouldnt have this problem. Like I said, I only think maybe two or three of the episodes in this half of the season were actually decent.
