So, all the previously released If You Give a Little Love parts should be out there again by next week, and I'm already working out how the new arc should work. I'm almost to 200 likes and 2500 views, and everything seems to be coming together. I should have a new part out every two weeks after the rereleases stop. While I could hypothetically have a new part every week...
...I have a new project in mind. No, it's not Snake Oil and Cameos. After a lot of soul-searching, I've figured out that now's not exactly the best time for me to write a sad story. Not that anything's going particularly bad in my life, but I feel like tackling a new genre will take a lot more planning than I have now. I will still write it; it just might come in late 2016 or even 2017 instead. Basically, I decided to push it back because I had another idea in mind.
Considering how Babs kind of got the shaft back in Act II (for understandable reasons), I kind of wanted her to have a mini-series to make up for that. And the pony who stars with her in that series might end up surprising you, since it's a pony who doesn't make an appearance in the main series. She'll actually be sharing the role of main character with Diamond Tiara.
See, ever since "Crusaders of the Lost Mark," I've noticed that these two fillies have a LOT in common, and that sets itself up for a good "making up with old friends" dynamic. That'll be one of the major themes of it: what happens after reformation. Another is regret at losing a pony who (for Diamond, at least) may have been one of the ponies she could bring herself to love most. But for the most part, it's about two fillies who never really got a normal childhood to begin with, and how circumstances arrange themselves to make it so they get a second chance at that. As for how Diamond ends up in Manehattan...that'll be the really intriguing part of the story.
Anyway, it's mostly friendshipping except for a little awkward possible first crush on Diamond's side...that she'll probably never actually admit. I've narrowed the title down to "Diamonds Before Seeds," I think.
