Been a while! Here's a quick Pokemon Shuffle update.
In case it wasn't obvious, don't ask me about Pokemon Go. I don't have a smartphone, and even if I did, I wouldn't be playing it. I honestly think it's become a gigantic mess.
So there was a "new" Safari which actually only had two "new" Pokemon in it: "Winking" versions of Pikachu and Raichu. Both of which I managed to encounter on the day the Safari rolled out, both of which I captured on the first try. Yay!
I ran the current Escalation Battle up as high as I feasibly could without burning through coins on every stage. Then I farmed my coins up to above 80k. Then yesterday, I decided to attempt Survival Mode again for the first time since the day it first rolled out.
Highest I could make it was stage 16. I can't get past that fucking Mega Mawile, and I'm honestly not terribly interested in trying again.

I don't have the phone for Pokémon Go either. Besides, spending most of my time at work is enough for me.
I wish I could at least try Pokemon Go. But yeah, it's nuts right now. And honestly, I stopped caring about Shuffle. I might go back one day and get Hydreigon.
I don't own a smartphone either and I feel the same way, not even pokemon could convince me to go outside more often.
4099434 I'd go outside more often if I wasn't disabled and in poor health. As it is, I get out of the house maybe 2-3 times a month.
But that isn't my issue with Pokemon Go, it's how it's enabling stupid people to be even more stupid.
4099490 Well stupid people are always going to be stupid, but I guess it's about time we started letting natural selection take it's course again for the _really_ stupid people. I mean, how hard is it to look both ways before you cross the street? Or how hard is it to know to never walk across a major highway? or in a bad neighborhood with your phone out as if you're recording things where drug deals or worse can and do happen out in public?
