Could somepony please explain to me just how tags work....I'm socially dumb. I've never tweeted or instagrammed or whatnot, so as tags go on this site, I'm really lost...
...And no, silly~ I'm not old. I just store specific things in my 512mb brain so I can keep room left for my windows vista updates.

People usually use tags saying what their story involves like sex or slice of life, romance. Does that answer your question or was that the obvious one you already knew?

Story tags are these. Things like comedy, romance, eqg; and character tags you already know.
Blog tags are pretty arbitrary. Knighty did a blog post about them here. Basically, you can tag whatever you want in the tags at the bottom.
If were talking about tags from this site, I'll start with only with the basic, becsue really I have no idea how to explain the crossover, sci-fi, anthro, etc. I'll try to explain the basic tags in the most simplest way I can (Hint- I'm only simple).
Romance Tag- A story about two pony loving each other. Mostly about the two loving ponies going on dates or confessing thier love to each other. Also it could be about three ponies, yea I know there word about it but it long and I'm not going to type it since I'm lazy.
Sex Tag- Do I really need to explain this one. And for the love of all good in this world, the tag is not tagged for gender it sex. Hot, naughty, pleasurable fun behind close door bedroom sex between two or group sex. It Sex.
Slice of Life Tag- Based on life. That all I got.
Anthro Tag- Didn't want to do this one but I'll try. Ponies being half human and half ponies form. If I'm wrong, sorry.
There a whole bunch of other tag, but I really don't want to do all of them. If this was not what you were not asking in the first place, again, sorry.
