Am I the only one that likes season six? I've liked every episode and two of my new favorite episodes (Newbie Dash, A Hearth's Warming Tail) are from this season.

No, I'm pretty sure quite a few other people do, me included. You've probably just been seeing everyone who dislikes certain episodes for one reason or the other.

I've really liked it so far, so you're not alone.
Season six I though its going like every season. So far two episodes are on my worst list while two episode are meh as the rest are great.
Like any season, it has it's hits and misses. It's not as good as season 5 so far, and it's not even close to season 2, but it's only half-done. It might get better, it might not. We shall see.
I don´t watch it anymore. the season 5 finale has really destroyed my faith in it.
sometimes it seems like much of the fandom kinda seems like it's lost it's mind this season, Episodes like Flutter Brutter and No Second Prances are torn apart for minor flaws that would of probably been ignored just a few seasons ago, an episode like Hearths Warming Tail which is near perfectly executed is bashed by half the fandom for being an adapation of an existing story. It's really just been like most any other season, has it's hits and it's misses.
O and there's definitely a sizable part of the fandom that hates Starlight SO MUCH that they'll never be able to enjoy any episode she's in even if it's borderline perfect. I never got that attitude, Im not the biggest fan of Fluttershy... and Id still rank episodes like Hurricane Fluttershy and Flutter Brutter among the best of the series. I completely adore Rarity, and I think episodes like say Simple Ways have a lot of flaws. Judge the episode on it's own merits not your opinion of it's starring character.

And can i Just say? I don't get peoples nostalgic obsession with S2, it and S4 pretty much have the lions share of the WORST episodes of the series IMO, they got some of the best too but not much in other seasons is as bad as stuff like Mare-Do-Well, Rainbow Falls or Somepony to Watch Over Me. Also Rainbow Dash was near consistently badly written in S2 in a way that I don't think has ever been repeated for another character. Like to the point that she went from near the top of my list to near the bottom after it. The S2 finale is deeply overrated as well.

Season 4 had some of the worst episodes with some of the characters written badly just to service the story ("Filli Vanilli", "Somepony to Watch Over Me", "For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils", "Simple Ways", and "Bats!") But Season 2, in my honest opinion, had the most legitimately good episodes ("The Return of Harmony", "Sisterhooves Social", "Secret of My Excess", "Hearth's Warming Eve", "The Last Roundup", and especially "Hurricane Fluttershy"), and works in spite of "Mare Do Well" and "Putting Your Hoof Down". That's why I think Season 2 is the best, with Season 5 a close second.
But that's just me.
