What is it with this house and wildlife?! · 9:12pm Jun 8th, 2016

So, before it was mice and bunnies. Now a freakin' Chipmunk is scampering around my room with my Cat chasing behind it like mad. Ugh... Does anyone have any insight on how to catch one of these things? I'm looking online too, so I'm sure I'll get some similar ideas to what I'm seeing.

Gas the house with phosgene.

That's a completely new one. If the situation doesn't drastically improve, it's either that or a sledgehammer.

In order to catch a chipmunk, you need to hire chipmunks. :trollestia:

Sorry, I don't have any actual advice for you.

No no... This is so crazy that it just... might... work...
*Releases more Chipmunks into the house!*
I regret this decision immediately.

4009307 XD.
Hey, if you take all of the stuff out, and rinse well before you move back in.
Nothing inside will be alive.

Get more cats!

We had three, a month ago! One passed away and the other is like, 14 years old! :applejackconfused:

Kittens would be awesome...

Well, the bunnies weren't in the house. There was a nest of them out in the yard. Adorable...
I have no idea how the Chipmunk got in... I think our Air Conditioner has a little opening on one side that it squeezed through... Why, I have no idea...
But yes... Call in Fluttershy.

We almost hit the little guys with the lawnmower. Thankfully, they only got spooked. They grew up and left the nest already. :yay:

I don't think my ideas would work unless you plan on avoiding unnecessary damage. Depending on what you consider unnecessary.

I got it out unharmed. It was all a matter of trapping it in a room where it couldn't duck under doors or anything, getting a towel, trapping it in a corner using the towel as a moving barricade, dropping the towel on it and carrying it outside, wrapped up in the towel... All in all, took me about 2 hours! :rainbowlaugh:
