It's been one year today since I posted my story.

Only 94,648 written in an entire year... I need to step up my game.

Anyway, for anyone that still cares or remembers this story, I am working on the next chapter and hope to release it sometime this month.

More details and sorry excuses after the break.

It has been over two months since my last chapter?

Yep, looks that way. I am working on the next chapter. It is at 11k currently and on the final scene.

Think I found my mojo again for writing. Still not a writer, but I am getting there, or at least getting better at not doing anything at all.

2016-09-29 Edit: Waiting on approval from pre-readers/proofreaders and it will be out before the month is over.

I'm totally working on the next chapter.

Also, I haven't been playing Mega Man fan games (The only place Mega Man continues to live.), Dark Souls (The first one because I'm that far behind.), or Pokemon Uranium (Habits formed as a seven year old are hard to break, but at least I'm sworn off the official stuff.). All those things in parenthesis should be ignored, and are things I would be saying if I did in fact spend the past month and

Every time I see someone favorite my story... · 9:11am May 3rd, 2016

I feel like I'm letting you down. I know what I'm going to write for the next chapter, but I just never seem to write enough each day. It is shaping up to be a long one, well probably not that long, but at least around a 10k word count. I suppose my lack of any actual writing throughout my life is the biggest cause, but I just feel like I should be able to at the very least 1k words down everyday, and not my pitiful 200-500 word count.

It'll probably speed up soon, since some dialog is next to be written, and that I can write a couple thousand words of without pause. Really, a good chunk of my story is just dialog, but that is par for the course with a drama. Heh, I really need a villain at some point to do a monologue, which would be really fun.

Anyway, hope to eventually post the next chapter before a month has passed since the last chapter. I look at everything I have planned for my story and I'm dying just to write it, since the story's mood and tone changes several times throughout. The only thing I'll say about what is to come is that it never quite reaches epic, but that is mainly because I'm sure I would fall flat at writing epic. I do plan to write epic someday of course, but that isn't possible until after this story, and this story has a long ways to go before it is done.

Writer's and motivational block or simply not getting around to writing a lot is common. You shouldn't feel like you're letting people down because if they favorited it, obviously it's worth the wait. if they love your story then they won't mind, and every writer or anyone who has something to do with creative design has had some problem like the at more than one point. You shouldn't feel unworthy because you are, you put so much hard work and time into this. That's contribution enough as long as you get around to finishing the story eventually.

3920040 Thanks. I would say more, but I have a chapter to write, though not forcing myself to write. Seen enough writers that force themselves to write, and their stories suffer as a result.

3921119 Good that you're not forcing yourself to do it:twilightsmile: Have fun!
