I really enjoyed that one! I wasn't particularly looking forward to it when I read the synopsis, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable episode. Nick Confalone did a good job here.

A little spoilery stuff after the break.
Easily my favourite of the three Trixie episodes. Easily. It helped that she was so good in her role, and that Twilight was (for much of the episode) basically a colossal jerk. Given that Starlight (potentially) destroyed a hay of a lot more and was forgiven pretty much instantly and almost unconditionally, you can see Trixie's point. The two unicorns actually work really well together, and I wouldn't mind seeing them team up again at some point. DJ-Pon3 is now a cast-iron canon name, but I don't imagine people will stop calling her Vinyl in the fandom or in fanfics, and I'm okay with that. Derpy's face was amusing, as was the fact that Cranky was the only one of the dinner guests who actually spoke. (Celestia didn't say anything, either!) A good job Starlight decided to help Trixie out, though, otherwise this could have been the first ever grimdark episode. 
Also, Fluttershy got precisely two "words" of dialogue. Come on, guys, this is getting silly now.
Haven't seen it yet, but glad to know it get's your stamp if approval. I really must set time aside for it; Trixie and Starlight are two characters I find fascinating, so their interacting should be fun.
