As a environmental message, it's fair-to-middling at best.
As a story which depicts how they might've handled Diamond Tiara AFTER her redemption, it's positively flawless.
Is officially my favourite episode of the season thus far. Trixie was great, Twilight showed some real personality outside 'the perfect princess' caricature she's been playing of late, and even Starlight has been starting to grow on me (Never thought I'd hear myself say those words). Overall, very impressed! ****/*****

Episode did sound good from the summary TV Tropes gave it, although what do you mean as of late for Twilight's perfect princess role? Do you mean since the season started or since episodes before that. Know it's probably another of the dumb questions I tend to ask but I am curious.
3907772 I mean, I miss her old season 1 snarkiness and uppity attitude, at times. Recently, it's like every episode she's featured in she's automatically in the right. No Second Prances establishes her as a character with flaws just the same as everypony else. This is a major step forward, in my humble opinion. After all, no-one likes a Mary-Sue...
3907777 Yeah, I admit that tendency of the writers to make her "Always right" can wear on you at times. This was definitely something that was needed.
