    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Olmec, Put Three Minutes On The Clock · 9:37am Apr 20th, 2016

So last month, it was revealed that Nickelodeon was reviving it's 90's cult classic game show, Legends of the Hidden Temple. Not in the form of a game show, but a TV movie, involving three siblings becoming separated from a guided tour of, you guessed it, a hidden Mayan temple.

Apparently there will be plenty of nods to the show, which ran for 120 episodes from 1993 to 1995. These nods include Olmec, the temple entrance, and the Steps of Knowledge.

I swear, these kids better have to assemble a silver monkey to avoid a trap or open a door, and they better screw it up.

Another major nod is host Kirk Fogg, who is returning with a role in the reboot. I have to imagine as the tour guide these kids get separated from.

And... Holy shit. Trust me, I know 23 years is a long time, but he looks NOTHING like he did back in '93. I'm not even talking age; he still looks great, but when I first saw that image, I swore it was a cosplay. Nope, that's Kirk today.

Would it have been awesome if the revival was a game show? Sure. Could they screw this up? Sure. But if they do this right, I don't think I'll even need nostalgia goggles. My inner 8-year old will be screaming with so much joy.

Legends of the Hidden Temple is due out in the fourth quarter of 2016.

God. I remember watching that as a kid.

Which is surprising considering I would've been 3 when it went off the air.

3883298 Nickelodeon syndicated it for many years after, before it landed on the Nick GaS network.

3883308 I miss that channel, Legends of The Hidden Temple was just one of the great shows they ran on that network.

I remember seeing this show, probably in reruns, when I was seven or eight, back in the early 2000's

I'm definitely old enough to have watched LOTHT first-run and enjoyed it. Fortunately, reruns are common on the (absolutely illegal but oh-so-worth-it) Nick Reboot, where it's one of the most popular series. Always worth checking out on the occasions when Viacom has failed to shut it down.

Oh man. I hadn't heard about this! Officially excited!
