Feedback - One year · 2:08am Mar 30th, 2016

I checked my dates today. One year ago today, March 29th, Feedback was first published on fimfiction.

Wow, time sure flies, doesn't it?

A lot has happened in this one year. Feedback has seen completion, which marked a first-ever for me. Never before had I completed a work over 20,000 words, let alone 87,000 words. That's a full novel. And it was one heck of an accomplishment. I can acutely remember that one night in early August when I put the last words down and I suddenly had no idea what to do with myself anymore. That was a seven month journey, suddenly over. It's a feeling any author who has hunkered down for the long haul can attest to.

Feedback enjoyed syndication on Equestria Daily. Also a first, and even then it took a few tries. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I got that e-mail notifying me that it would be published, and I remember walking on air for several days after that. It has, more recently, been spotlighted by Everfree Northwest, which renewed that feeling. It is immensely vindicating.

But above all... you, my readers, have gone on this journey with me. Knowing that so many of you found my story enjoyable is the best feeling in the world. Not Equestria Daily, not Everfree Northwest, not even completing the story. It's you.

There is even, now, a picture. Here recently, a user named Owl Feather drew a picture depicting a scene from within the story. I will link it here, I much encourage all of you to check it out!

Rest assured, I am still working on the sequel. School, is tough, but even then I am midway through drafting chapter five. And trust me; every word that I put down is several more in the road ahead that I am able to see. Yes, there are still some things that I must figure out about my own story, but even today I have made a breakthrough. I will have something soon. I promise.

Thanks for the wonderful year, my dear readers. I can't wait to make this next year even better than the first.

And thank you for creating an awesome story. I had a blast in reading it on my channel

You make me feel old... I read your blog title and had to take a trip down memory lane for myself. My first story is just shy of its 5th year anniversary. Good lord does time fly!

Looking forward to the sequel!

Well then.

*applauds*
