I know it's been a while, but I would like to chat if you have the time.

Wow, two years since I made a blog post, and nearly a years since I last updated a story.

Well the reason for that is sadly quite simple, I have had writers block due to the presidential election (yeah, I know, stupide) but recently I have been getting the urge to write again, which has brought me of course to Changeling Mine.

I am going into realms so foreign to me right now...

So, I recently started playing Pokemon Uranium a few weeks back, which I started playing after reading A New World, A New Way for the third time, and of course as these things happen, I have been itching to write a story based in that world, though of course, with my own flare added in.

So…this may lose me some followers…

*Takes deep breath, and preemptively raises flame shield.* Well there is no simple way to say this so I'll just come out and say it, ok, ok…I watched Season 1 of Netflix's She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power and I actually enjoyed it.

    So......

I may have gotten a hold of the new God of War, played through it, binge watched Jacksepticeye’s lets play of the series, and also sat my ass down to blast my way through the enteirety of the rest of the god of war games, and got inspired to write a fic about Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir ending up in a huminized version of Equestria....which I am currently part way through its third chapter.

Ok, One Last Blog Post About Changeling Mine....For A While Anyway

Well, with the few reactions I got from my last blog post, and after a bit more deliberation, I decided I need to clear something up in regards to the changes that will be made to Shining Armor in this story, mainly in regards to his redemption.

I just decided to check on how my stories folder was looking, to see if anything crucial was missing, and I just found out that all my stories are compatible with another program I have on my computer called word pad, thank the ever loving maker! So, with that said, expect an update for Changeling Mine some time in the future, for I have the next chapter almost half way done, and I am so excited for whats coming in the next few chapters, EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Look into Apache OpenOffice. It's an open source office suite with very similar functionality to MS Office. Alternately, if you have a Google account and a reliable internet connection, you could always do it through Google Docs, which is nice because FimFiction has an 'import from gdocs' button in the chapter editor.

Hmm, I shall take a look into the Apache link, the only reason I don't use Google Docs is because I like keeping everything on my computer, and I never have really trusted those online storage services.

3825813 that's why you save your work from Google docs onto your pc as well as Googles storage. Two backups are better than one.

3825813 GDocs also can be set up to where it stores a copy locally too. And as far as OpenOffice is concerned, I'm an IT type guy, and I prefer it to MS Office, it's very similar in functionality, can use almost all the same file extensions, and is free. Just remember that it saves a Word Document as *.oow or something by default, and change your file extension to *.doc.

Ok, maybe I should clarify, I don't like placing my things in an online storage area, I don't trust them.
