And yet such references within a story make me cringe.

Yes, my long-time avatar has become ASCII. It's probably just a phase, though.

Light of a Diamond hasn't been updated for long enough that I figured I'd let anyone concerned know that I'm still working on it. Truth be told the biggest reason for that is because I tried to do something that didn't help the story, and I felt it at about 1500 words in. Two whole hours of good work wasted! Clearly, it takes weeks to make up that much lost work.

Kinda sorta. I did have to revise my outline, which is somewhere between really easy and not really easy, because it's only one paragraph per chapter. I did that, though, and resumed writing. The chapter is going to be published in the near future, when my proofreaders and I deem it worthy.

Also responsible-ish for the lack of anything happening are those interviews that I actually was serious about. I'm sure my new habit of having multiple projects going on at once isn't helping any of them go faster, but I do find myself more involved when I have a variety of options that I can pick from depending on how much time and effort I have available to invest. The interview project is still on a learning curve, and I don't think it's quite ready for any big announcement or anything just yet.

For now, just keep an eye out for LoaD's new chapter. I am told that it makes one think that Diamond Tiara needs a hug. Maybe that'll happen by the end, but not this time.

I have also spent a reasonable amount of time conversing with and editing for Bugsydor regarding his own story, Monster Hunter: Equestria. I know it says "crossover", but there's no way you dislike crossovers more than I. "Inspired by" may be far more accurate. Anyhow, it's a thing you might want to look at (you know, in another tab, now-ish).

I was going to spend this time writing the end of the next chapter, but it turns out that I'd already done that, so instead I spent a few minutes rambling about it. I just want you all to know what clicking on my stories has gotten you into.

And on that thought, I've seen my stories go in places that surprise me. Not only have there been interesting people reading some of them, but others have had a far more positive reception than I would give them credit for, but then, in some cases, I do think they're just a pile of crap. Somehow, though, I have even earned a token one-word reference in another story. I'm looking at you, Bugsy.

Unless someone really feels like digging, that's just gonna stay one of our private jokes. :trollestia:

I keep outlining stories and find that I hate them. It's in the midst of an outline I realize I have no story. sigh. :raritydespair:

Maybe I'm drinking the wrong type of booze. Or not enough of it. :raritycry:

Sometimes you're not happy with what you write. Sometimes it's objectively a PoS.
