So I just watched the first two episodes of Kamen Rider Ghost.
Gonna be brutally honest:
I hate it. 
I hate the protagonist. I hate the supporting characters. I hate the annoying mascot. I hate that godawful eyesore of a Driver Belt. I hate the Ghost costumes. Three different Ghost costumes in two episodes and I hate all of them. This Rider is just really badly designed.
There honestly is not a single damn thing I like about Kamen Rider Ghost.
I'm probably not giving up on it just yet, I'll give it at least two more episodes, but so far after two episodes it's...pretty awful.
Kinda reminds me of my opinion of the first two episodes of MLP FiM. It took five tries just to get by the first five minutes.
Ouch. Hate to tell ya this, but I kinda like it. To be fair, this is probably the first KR series I'm watching from the very beginning, but I certainly don't think it's horrible. Here's hoping you think it gets better.
3782524 Opinions on Ghost seem to be incredibly divided. It just doesn't really measure up to great Rider series like W. Hell, it doesn't even measure up to OOO.
3782689 ?. So OOO isn't that great in your opinion? And I take it W is definitely one of the better Heisei Era series?
3782846 OOO is awesome. It's goofy as hell and one of the lightest, softest Kamen Rider series, but it's awesome. W is just that much more awesome. W is still my favorite Kamen Rider series of all time, but Gaim is WAY up there.
All I meant by what I said is that Ghost doesn't measure up to past Rider series.

3782961 W is a good way to get into Kamen Rider. It's not quite as dark as other Rider series (believe me, Kamen Rider gets dark), it's unique among all Rider series in that W is formed from two people, and it's a nice, easy way to get into the richness of Kamen Rider (W was my very first Kamen Rider series).
3783443 .......okay, you were right. 2 episodes in, and I was hooked. So, you've talked about W, OOO, Gaim, Ghost. Have you seen Fourze, Wizard. & Drive? I'm pretty sure you said you didn't.
3784990 Not yet. Wizard is next on my list once I give up on Ghost. I've only seen four Kamen Rider series from beginning to end so far: Kabuto, W, OOO, and Gaim.

3785040 Kabuto is great, but I wouldn't say it's for everyone. It's relentlessly dark and not in a fun way like Gaim. It's just grim. The main character is an asshole.
3785068 .....egh. Not on my list of priority Kamen Riders to see, then. Do you have any 'speculations' on who'll the next Rider will be? I'm hoping for something along the lines of a drifter, or some kinda ex-soldier. Hoping for a kinda break from all the young-ish protagonists lately...
3785140 Main Riders are always going to be young, photogenic males. That's the way the industry works. Same with Super Sentai members.

3785650 Not...really? Philip and Hidari/W are pretty much my favorite Rider, with Gaim riding a close second.

3789580 Honestly, I think Decade is THE most divisive. I haven't seen ANY of Decade outside of the one movie I watched that was half a Decade movie and half a W movie, and the general impression I get is that Decade is an ass and nobody likes him.
