So these past few weeks I had a this thing called lack of motivation.
But here's the thing.
I get this feeling to work on the Last of My Kind, I sit down, start writing, and like two minutes later I'm bored again. Like through that two minutes I'll get maybe 200 words in, so progress is being made... just very slow.
On an unrelated note, I decided to appease you cloppers by starting working on a non-canon saucy chapter for LMK ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
If you all read my fic "7 Days of Heat" you'll know that I'm only an amateur at the clops, but I'm improving. I can't promise you a date in which it's coming out, but I'll let you know it's being worked on.

Mhmm, just that this has been going for like a week. It's irritating and I have tried forcing myself, but when you force yourself it doesn't come out as good and well just seems... contrived.
3782173 That's the point at whcih you need to take a week or two away from writing and do other stuff. I had that problem back in October, tried to fight through it, and ended up burning myself out to the point of needing to take an entire month off writing.
200 words in 2 minutes is equivalent to 6000 words an hour... I dunno about you, mate, but my record is only 1500 words in an hour. So, yeah, 200 words in 2 minutes is actually a good pace.
You could also try to find some music that you feel fits the theme of the story.
3782244 Eh. I managed to get around 5500 written in one hour due to the extreme amount of feedback I received in such a short time on one of my older stories.

Oh, by the way, you were right about the collab I planned to be too difficult. I know it's been a long time (although you never answered the pm I sent you), but I did some scenario development and it'd never work unless I had 'The character' appear in a forest or trail near your characters.

As for clop, I got curious and decided to test myself for fun. Turns out I have a knack for it xP I only wrote one story though.
3782979 Yeah. I'm trying to discuss collabs better with the potential collaborator so we can figure out if the idea would work or not. It's harder than it seems, collaborating.
3783617 Yeah it can get hectic. Best thing you'd want to do is find an idea you both like, learn each of your writing styles, cross fingers and hope you guys don't butt heads.
I have more free time now and no motivation to work on my stories of you feel the need to pitch an idea.
