Hey Peeps.
Things are still slogging along, in spite of what it may seem.
Unfortunately things may come to a temporary halt for another fair stint.
I'm off to live in a tent until say about Christmas, spending my time shaking scorpions out of my boots, dodging snakes, and avoiding spiders as I burn away beneath the beating sun. The world as it is has been booming in a bad way lately, as you all well know, and, being military, it's my job to help put down some of these shitstorms. I'll be on the next rotation, and there likely won't be any progress throughout my time there.
Apologies for how long this has been taking in recent chapters. I was crushing it in the mid-chapters but things feel like a standstill now. I get it. I've been there for many of my favourite stories.
All I can do is promise you that this fic will see a true ending. If you can abide, and patience is a virtue you have, then stick with me. I'll get you to the destination we're both looking for.
