I'm alive, and other news. · 9:56pm Feb 20th, 2016
Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I've last been on here. A lot has happened since I last published a new chapter on any story, and I think somewhere along the lines I came down with some kind of writer's block. TMS, for example, I have some idea of where I want to go, but the problem was how to get there. That's pretty much what I'm struggling with right now for that story, and when I'm not working on that, I try to put time in writing UTM, another bonus chapter for TMS, and even a little of a new chapter for Dear Miss Cheerilee (DMC). There were other unpublished stories that I've done, but I try not to get too absorbed in them like the last time when it took me so long to get TMS updated, especially when I'm not sure if I'll ever put them on the site anyways.
As for what's been going on irl, I've finally got a new job, just in time before I have any idea of what's going on with my old one on auction day. I've been working both over the past week, and starting the next I'll have fewer hours on my old one so that I'll have more time to balance between the two (and hopefully get enough sleep for them as well). With my new job, I'm one step closer of getting into my career as a Pharmacy Technician. I just need to work as a service clerk for a while until I'm able to get more hours over there, as well as be eligible to start some cross-training.
I've also been trying to get myself more [socially] active in my town, whether it's making new friends, or getting some dating experience. Progress on the latter has been pretty shitty as I've resorted to online dating, getting myself screwed over more than once, and I haven't even met any of them in person. After my recent failure, I'll be resorting to just going to someplace on my own and try to put myself out there instead, as online dating is just not working out for me. Making new friends is also a difficult challenge, and I think I'd rather put that at a higher priority than dating as I think it's something I may need more of than a significant other for the time being.
Other than those, I've basically just been trying to get into better, healthier habits while improving myself. I'm done with school for now (at least until further notice), so I might as well be working on that while I try to go about my days, and perhaps goofing around playing video games, watch youtube videos, movies (DEADPOOL IS AWESOME. MUST GO SEE. NOW) and read books (or mlp fanfics) on my off days.
I thank you all for being patient with me. I just got a lot going on-the good and the bad-that I could barely think about what to write next on my stories. My birthday's also coming up, so that may also add into the stress of things depending on how many would want to spend it with me. I'll definitely try to get back into writing soon enough, though. I guess right now while I'm trying to make changes for the better, I'm also figuring out what I really want out of life, and maybe some supporting friends to share my thoughts with. I thank you again for sticking by me for those who've been with me for a while. I welcome the newcomers that came around while I was out, and I'm thankful for everyone here liking my stories enough to eagerly wait for more. I won't let you guys down, I promise you that, and until next time,
