Deadpool Movie Review (Spoilers!!!) · 2:38pm Feb 13th, 2016
Just as Robert Downy Jr made Tony Stark his own character, Heath Ledger with the Joker, and Hugh Jackman with Wolverine, we now have Ryan Reynalds owning as Deadpool.
I forgive him! You did a s****y performance as Baraka and Green Lantern, but I'm proud to say that you made me, Ryan Reynalds. ...Can you stop my censorship?
No.
F**k off.
Anyways! This movies was actually pretty linear. Is it bad? With their execution, I can safely say HELL NO!!! Basically, Wade Wilson falls in love with Vanessa, she falls in love back, both have holiday themed sex scenes throughout the year, he gets cancer, goes to a facility, gets powers, escapes, tries to find the asshole to cure his "Testicle with teeth" face, Vanessa gets kidnapped, needs help from the X-Men, rescues Vanessa and offs villain, End.
See? Pretty linear, and that's if the film went chronologically, since the past is explained through various flashbacks. How it's executed however... man, I have never smiled nor laughed this hard in a LONG time!!! It actually makes dick jokes that makes you laugh rather than groan, and an equally funny fart joke!
#Driveby
We only have two X-Men in this film: Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, which seems weird, considering they both live in the X-Men Mansion.
It's like we didn't have the budget to get more characters.
Yes, both are great in their own ways! Colossus looked AMAZING and acted that way as well! Negasonic, I kinda wish we had more screentime with her, but for what she did, it was Amazing in her own way! The main bad guy was Ajax (Or Francis) and his assistant, Pixie dust (or whatever her name was), and both were great as the badguys! Ajax, really, I'm glad that guy can add Deadpool to his resume rather than Transporter Refueled (It's bad, BTW). Plus, we have Weasel, Deadpool's best friend, and, a surprise guest, BOB!!! He's not a Hydra member, but he's in the final fight.
Speaking of fights, this is Rated R for a reason: Not just the swearing, but the blood & gore in it! All the fights are well choreographed well, with added humor, and it's just a bloody good time! Plus, with Deadpool's healing factor, he actually sliced his hand off, 127 hours style, and it grew back, albeit, looking like a creepy baby hand.
It's gonna feel much bigger with this hand before it's back to normal.
This is not safe for kids! Need proof? Deadpool fight naked, and though it's covered, you can still see his wing-dang-doodle in some shots. Or how about a whole strip club scene with Stan Lee as the announcer? Yes, Stan Lee is the announcer in a strip club with topless women!
Humor is Spot on! Dark, yet hilarious killings are there, references to pop-culture, and, most importantly, 4th wall breaking!!!
A 4th wall in a 4th wall? That's like breaking 16 walls!!!
So, without further a due, I say that you need to-
Hey! What about us!?
And the end credits scene?
Guys, you both weren't in it.
But why? We're all a part of each other!
It's called "Deadpool", not "Deadpool- the man with 2 voices". Plus, we'll probably get our chance in the sequel.
Sequel?
Explain.
Right. End Credits is a Ferris Bueller Joke, in which we learn that Cable will be joining. Who will be playing him? Not sure, but they're going to do it!
Yep! Allow my to tune my banjo.
Banjo!?
I'll be ready for the Sequel. You all go and see it!
Oh! Almost forgot: Deadpool Masturbates to Unicorns! 10 bucks says that the Unicorn plushie was originally going to be either Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, or a character from MLP.
I saw it last night and loved it!
Saw it last night. Almost the whole audience was laughing. But everyone was cracking up once they saw Stan Lee

Yup! Best comic book movie of the year? Perhaps this month, but I hope it is for the year.
3751400 Yup.
Saw it today. I don't remember the last time I was in tears from laughing because of a movie. Amazing shit!
3751863 Yep. Deadpool must love them Unicorns.
I saw it on the night it came out. It was funny. I have zero experiences with Deadpool.. unless you count the game. It was the entire reason I wanted to see it. Because I laughed my ass off during the game, and when I saw that they would make a movie, I was ecstatic. I liked Nolan North a bit too... but Ryan did a great job.
3751899 I feel you. Nolan North will always be the voice of Deadpool, but Ryan Reynolds, excluding THAT THING, is Deadpool in real life. Plus, give Ryan credit: he actually pushed the movie to be in Fox's green light, even with their budget of around 50 million Dollars. (Fant4stic had a budget around 120 million)
