I'll try and mock up a proper recap blog—though I am notoriously terrible at doing those, I don't think I've ever managed a proper recap blog for any of the various conventions I've gone to over the years. ObabScribbler is a wonderful person who creates audio plays of My Little Pony fanfics, and they're always wonderful. The dedication she puts into them are phenomenal, and I'm very grateful that I've been privy to having my fics read and performed by her and her troupe before. This one is quite different, though.
"Weight" is a very heavy fic (hurr). I wrote it at a time in my life when I was teetering on the edge of suicide daily, and while that time hasn't exactly passed, I'm in a different place than I was then. I wrote it as both catharsis and an experiment to see if I could mold those feelings I was experiencing into a feasible piece relating to Twilight's character. I think I achieved that with... varying degrees of success.
Scribbler really put her all into this video; I urge you to watch and listen to it, it's incredible, and although I'm totally biased in that regard, I think you'll agree.
