600 Followers! And My Modest Pony Collection... · 11:09pm Jan 14th, 2016
I realize by this point, I'm actually closer to 700 followers than 600, but that's only because I was debating stopping these milestone blogs because they might get annoying. Then I thought how little I blog to begin with and... here's my pony stuff!
Facts: Started collecting around a year and half ago. First figure was Lyra and last was Luna, after forking over a sad amount of money to someone on eBay for her. Displayed in IKEA detolf cases. Two cases used to contain other stuff. Then ponies slowly took over all three of them. Could that be a metaphor about ponies slowly consuming everything they touch? 
Hmm...
Tried to keep certain ponies together that I thought made sense.
Also collect the comic books and a couple of those fancier figures. Stopped at two because I think collecting the Funko Vinyls is plenty already. Only so much room, right?
Writing wise, I'll be continuing with "Bad Dude" and the continuation of "Unmotivated". Sprinkle in some random one-shots of comedy, black comedy, drama, and horror and that's about that. It's been a slow week since I've been watching "Making a Murderer". Finally finished. Now to make my parody story, "Making a Brony", where a middle aged man is accused of watching a show for little girls. Even his nephew says he does. He heard the theme song from outside the accused home and ended up watching an entire season with the man. Then the police found a Twilight plushie in his bedroom eight days later and some of those blind-box figures in his car...

I laughed at the little setup you've got for Celestia and Luna. Luna looks like she's stoned out of her gourd and Celestia is glaring at her out of the corner of her eyes.
I'd bet you'd remove all of them and put dozens of Sombras in those spots the minute they're made and sold.

Wow. That makes the three vinyl figures that I just let lounge around my desk like they own the place look so... open to the air.
I got really lucky last year at Comic-Con, 'We Love Fine' was there and they had exactly one http://www.welovefine.com/vinyls-collectibles/anightmarevinyl2ndedition-pre-order-8770/sort/pps.seller_sort.html?order=DESC left. Unfortunately there isn't and Pony-Cons anywhere near my state, so when I saw that I knew I had to snatch it up. Ironically I was wearing my Anon cosplay (which is my avatar), and a photographer for a local brony fansite saw me with it and had me pose for some pics.

Nice collection! Heh I should take pics of my collection too, or at least my Queen Chrysalis collection hehe. Trying to get every figurine that comes out of her. *Obsessed? Nah! Not at all. :P*

3686501 Was going to collect the welovefine stuff, too, but by the time I got around to it, the first stuff was already sold out and very expensive on eBay. So then I settled with just the Funkos because at least they seemed doable.

:O Chrysalis Funko? :O I knew of the blind box series 3 Funko Chrysalis, but hadn't heard of a larger sized one! Well now I am indeed VERY excited! One more to add to my growing collection of QC items!
