Name: Coalstone (The Fan Without a Face)
Gender: Male
Species: Earth Pony
Appearance: Pretty muscular pony with black fur and dark grey hair in a wild mohawk like style, along with stone grey eyes and a mark that has the appearance of a sledgehammer crossed with a chisel and surrounded by rock fragments.
Strengths: Coalstone is abnormally strong, even by Earth pony standards, able to pulverize rocks and stone with his hoofs alone without suffering damage. He similarly is able to move and drag heavy boulders with no sign of visible strain. His skull is also incredibly strong able to shatter boulders on contact, headbutt stone walls without losing momentum and even have large rocks fall on his head without suffering any damage and his body in general can take a fair amount of punishment. He further has a great deal of precising with his hooves, knowing where to strike and how much pressure to apply either to simply break the rock or help shape it, though he does also use a special hammer and chisel for more detail work, which he has designed to slip onto his hooves. Intelligence wise he's far from stupid and when he keeps a cool head he can adept to opponents fighting styles and techniques.
Weaknesses: Coalstone is fairly impatient and also prone to anger, not fond of dragging things out if he doesn't have to. Additionally while he's normally fairly thick skinned frequent taunting and mockery can cause him to lose focus and be easier to trip up. He doesn't have a real fighting style of speak of, relying mostly on brute force and his durability to get the job done, which can easily be used against him when fighting a more skilled opponent, especially when he isn't calm.
Backstory: Despite his somewhat intimidating appearance and preference in decorations, Coalstone is actually a relatively kind individual with slight social difficulties. When he was younger he spent a considerable amount of time by himself, due to him lacking the proper social skills to communicate with others, leading him to have very few if any friends. This problem continued to persist as he got older and he gradually spent more and more time isolated. Originally he first took up stone carving as a means of coping with his persistent isolation, actually attempting to carve a companion out of rock and stone, with who he would have long conversations with, helping to somewhat fill the empty void he felt inside. Gradually his skill in stone carving and sculpting grew as time progressed and he actually began to find comfort in the various horrifying creatures of rock and stone he created. Often he would spend hours working in his home, communicating with the statues as if they were actually alive, seemingly content with his actions. Though he often wished that he could find a way to make it so they could speak with him, believing his statues would be the only ones capable of understanding him. He's since made a living selling his statues to various indivduals, but still longs to some day make friends with others, even though his own lack of social graces makes that a fairly difficult task.

Personality: Coco is a rather shy pony at first, but opens up once you get to know her. Though she is slightly inhibited by a mental disorder that limits her social skills, once she makes friends with someone, they are usually friends for life. When she is by herself, Coco is rather quiet and is often the pony who sits in the corner alone with her thoughts. When she is around her friends, however, she is very outgoing and more of a risk-taker.

Personality: Beyond the pewter-grey coat and intense carnation pink eyes lies a vast pool of intelligence within Opacare Prose. A natural love for knowledge fuels his desire to grow more intelligent, and some of his closest friends would endeavor to call him genius—if he weren't against the term. He is an accomplished author, formally publishing his first book by the young age of eighteen, and landing best-seller in the week after. He has been writing for well over ten years, with two different series and an upcoming children's book.
As an Earth pony, he is stronger than most; however, he prefers not to get involved physically, preferring to outsmart opponents. He weaves through life like it was a chessboard, calculating his next move and predicting his opponent's. Most things don't surprise him unless they completely derail his plan in life. That being said, he has some physical prowess, though unrefined.
Opacare Prose is an arrogant pony. His few friends can attest that his arrogance is well-deserved. He is confident in his abilities, believing himself to be either perfect or near-perfect in the skills that he has. In terms of writing, he has no equal; and his analytical and investigative skills are rivaled only by the best detectives and psychologists.
However, unlike the stereotypical arrogant pony, Opacare is very much aware of his own arrogance. After his overconfidence severely hurt one of his oldest friends, he sought to curb that arrogance to a more tolerable level. He and his friend have made amends, and he is now more humble and aware of his limits. (That arrogance still remains, however, as he has decided that he still needs it to be himself)
Besides looking extremely arrogant, Prose is known to be cynical and sarcastic. From an outsider’s view, he can appear very cold and calculating. He never fully trusts anything at face value, and does not trust anypony at their first meeting. He will often appear aloof from others, rarely socializing outside of his close group of friends.
In the presence of close friends, however, he can become something else entirely. He will be exceptionally loyal to his few friends, refusing to leave their side if a problem arises. He selectively chooses potential friends and puts them through a “filtering system,” to decide if being friends with them would be worth it. The few friends he has are the few individuals who he thinks he can trust with his life.
Despite often being considered a too-serious individual, Prose actually does have a sense of humor, which arises when he is with his friends. His sarcastic personality plays off his witty nature; making dry remarks and quick quips are especially his forte. However, he does have a slightly morbid sense of humor that is not for the faint of heart. He regards dark humor as being “one of the most intricate and clever forms of entertainment, should you be able to understand it.” Thankfully, only a few of his close friends are ever shown this side of his humor, and he refrains from bringing it out often.
However, Opacare is known for carrying grudges. This is an issue he has struggled with for the longest time, especially during the aftermath of his parents death—holding a grudge against himself for not arriving sooner. If anypony betrays his trust, he will cut them out of his life for a long while; forgiveness is rare, but can be implored. However, if a close friend betrays him, he will not only cut them out of his life, he will no longer associate with that friend in any way—whether that be in conversation or in memory.
Due to this, he is often considered quite extreme; so much so, that he actively warns his friends against doing something that he would consider a betrayal of the trust he has in them.
In between the outsider’s viewpoint and his close friends’ perspectives, he is regarded as a mostly quiet pony. He does not speak up unless he feels that he can contribute something. Normal conversations, such as gossip, bore him, and he will quickly remove himself from the premises should the occasion arise. However, should a conversation interest him, he will not shut up about the topic until he is satisfied.
Several ponies think that, if Opacare was willing to, he could take over a small town. He has joked that, if he and his fellow INTJS got together, they could take over the world.
This joke has put him on the Royal Guards’ “Suspicious Characters” List. Hence why he warns that his humor is not for the weak-hearted.
He was a skilled analyst ever since a small foal. Analyzing works and other ponies has become a hobby of his, and he often guesses right as to what a pony is like. Observation is key to his pony analysis; he can tell if a pony has been in a marital dispute based on little more than the clothes they wear and the way they carry themselves. Some may call it lucky guessing; he calls it observational analysis.
He is also a skilled investigator. Though he does not wish to be part of the police force, it has been noted that he could be a skilled detective. One of his friends is a sergeant in the force; Opacare is often allowed on cases to gather inspiration for his next novel, as well as assist in investigating. (Similar to Rick Castle) Prose can approach situation from a highly objective point, able to weave through a sea of emotions for the truth. This allows him to tell if somepony is lying and, with help of a psychologist friend, he is now an adept lie detector. He is extremely logical, able to connect two events with only a few details. His police friend often compares him to famous fictional detective, Sherlock Hooves.
Weaknesses:
Arrogance. While Prose has tried to curb his arrogant streak, he may unintentionally end up hurting those closest to him.
Pride. Something else he has strived to curb. An offhand comment about a lack of talent in comparison to himself rendered a pony to tears. This ties in with his overconfidence and arrogance.
Emotions. He is not the best to come to for emotional support. If he hurts you, he will not know because he does not know how to read emotions directly. It is best to come out and say that he hurt you so that he can make amends.
He can have high expectations of others, especially when he is choosing friends. This near-perfectionist desire makes friendship hard for him, and he often finds himself lonelier than he should.
Oddly enough, if approached with a situation in which he has no idea how to respond to it, he will drop in confidence level. Unfamiliar situation which he cannot quickly adjust to will lower his self-esteem. He does not like feeling useless, and in situation in which he feels powerless, feelings of guilt will arise.
Self-entitled “Superiority/Inferiority Complex.” This basically is Opacare considering himself better than others, yet still feeling that he isn’t good enough. This leads him to pushing himself to extreme levels, driving himself to do better. Prose holds himself in high regard, and tries to adhere to the same expectations he has for others. When he is unable to meet these expectations, he can feel like a total failure, regressing into depression and negativity. There have been incidents in which he goes days without eating, drinking, or sleeping, simply mulling over his failure instead of moving beyond the failure.
He can also be oblivious to minor details that he considers insignificant in the long run.
He suffers from trypanophobia: the fear of needles.

She even has a few specialized spells (sleep [AoE or single target], nightmares, and possesion. Moonshade is a quick thinker and right now suffers from major depression. She isn't sure of her feelings for Lily but is willing to give her a real chance. She is also occasionally accompanied by her pet fruit bat Midnight.

Humble to a fault and always looking to please everypony else. Despite extreme social anxiety, it's often covered up with awkward and sometimes funny humor. Sometimes jokes can be hurtful though, and for a lack of understanding of social cues it's pretty easy to upset somepony.

And being part of Class F, he gets called that pretty much daily. Despite despising being part of Class F, he doesn't complain about it, and will defend the friends he's made in Class F with everything he has.

Bio: Mix-up is a Prench foreign exchange student who was fling off to Equestria at the Academy, after accidentally destroying the chemistry lab of his old school when he was trying create a way to make clouds of different colors; suffice it to say he didn't succeed in that endeavor. Having influential parents in the school board, Mix-up school principal couldn't get rid that easily of him, so he tough to exile... uh... rewarded him with a mandatory foreign exchange program with a scholarship to the Academy... for an unspecified length of time, where he would be their problem to deal with instead of him. Having been soddenly sent to Equestria, with no chance to prepare himself for travel, he didn't had any prier lessons in speaking Equestrian, and has a hard time understanding the questions that are ask on the placement tests and sense no pony around him was good enough in Equestrian to tutor him, so he finds himself stuck in the F class. Whenever he can, he tries to practice his Equestrian with a pocket translation dictionary, in helping to understanding his study material better, but it is an uphill battle for him seeing he was at best en average student in his old school. Being dyslexics, Mix-up tense to get confused with instructions that he is given and ‘mix-up’ some of it if he is not carful and is one of the reasons that the lab exploded in his old school for mixing-up the wrong chemicals. Mix-up’s speaking Equestrian is at least understandable for the most part but he has a heavy Prench accent and his writhing is a nearly hopeless unintelligible mess. Mix-up like to think of himself as an artist (that is debatable), he likes to paint whenever he has the time to do so, he will always favor form over function when creating something, which can bring odd results and was dismayed to learn the fact that there was no art classes in the academy so there is no way that crank up his score for his Avatar like that. Mix-up’s Avatar is a miniature painter with a mustache, a comically oversized brush, with a painter’s pallet and beret.

Bio: Page is an introvert, always has been. When she was young she always thought ponies would make fun of her for her mismatched eyes, as such she never made too many friends. However, as of late she's been getting into the habit of trying to make a few friends. She's still fine on her own, though it's now beginning to wear thin. She's a rather caring mare, usually trying to help others, if it is within her power, but she won't go too far out of her way to help. Despite this, she's a surprisingly manipulative mare, easily able to convince other ponies to do something for her, often for free. However, she usually does this by mistake, too naive to realize she can practically control others (usually does not mean always). This comes from her incredible use of language, whether written or spoken. She knows what to say, and when to say it. Another factor in her manipulative abilities is that she is a rather pretty mare.
Weaknesses: She's naive, she would like to believe others are kind. She's naive to the point that she believes every pony is simply nice rather than her manipulating them. Once she begins to read or write she will become completely oblivious to almost everything around her. On top of that, her mind wanders very easily when not focused on writing or reading. Her magic is very limited and weak, and lacks the physical strength to make up for it.
Strengths: With her adept knowledge of language and writing she creates powerful incantations, runes, and wards to make up for her lack of natural magic. As stated above, she is abnormally smart when it comes to language, compared to her other subjects.

Bio: Snowstream had a pretty interesting life, and a lot of luck, considering the choices he made and where he ended up.
Being born as the son of Meteor Blaze, a wealthy Cloudsdale businessman, and Dusty Scroll, a unicorn historian, he got his cutie mark early on helping his father in his workshop. Disappointed because he wanted to become a stuntflier and join the Wonderbolts, he continued to train himself in flying and blacksmithing simultaneusly, hoping to somehow integrate the two. A clever foal, he got the big idea when his father made him a pair of wingblades for his 14th birthday, Snowstream decided he would be equestria's best athlete and make all of his own equipment. This ambitious plan stayed in his head until, when he was 16, his family was on a vacation to the south, and he met an earth pony stallion called Bale, who was leading a small band of mercenaries who helped and protected the settlerponies on the dangerous trecks through what became later known as the appleloosa plains. Deciding that this was a way more exciting way to spend his time, he decided to make that his life goal instead, so he left his parents a letter and joined Bale's group as a long range scout and the one in charge of maintaining equipment.
over the following two years, he was happy with his life and gained considerable skill in both craftsponyship and fighting, being taught by Miles High, one of the greatest aerial combatants of his generation. Unlike most pegasi, and certainly unlike his mentor, he remained humble and focused on his work and training, until one day his companions found out how he had left home in search of adventure. Disappointed that he had lied to them when he had presented himself as an orphan, and determined to set him back on the right path, they sent him back to equestria proper to make something of his life. Now alone and disappointed by everyone, he entered an apprenticeship with a master blacksmith in Hoofington, looking to find some new direction for his life. Luckily, hef ound a sweet mare named Mirabel, who he dated for half a year and wanted to spend the rest of his life with, when the 999th summer sun celebration rolled around and Mirabel turned out to be an estranged daughter of *edgy family history removed*, who was bitter about how her mother had sent her away when she was young for political reasons. Learning that his lover planned to bomb the celebration in Hoofington, and would not see reason, he took up his wingblades and his cryomancy and defeated her in the skies over Hoofington to save hundreds. However, as he descended from victory, tears still fresh in his eyes, he found that he himself had wrought havoc on the streets almost as much as she had intended, his frost filled tornadoes and blizzard winds freezing the life from innocent foals and severely injuring several dozen adult ponies. Devestated by the cost of his victory, he silently left behind yet another place he had called home, and wandered the roads between the little towns throughout equestria as a wandering blacksmith with a rickety cart which contained all of his belongings. Unable to fly without having violent flashbacks to the destruction at hoofington, he never leaves the ground anymore. He still remains humble and helpful, giving fair prices to his customers and helping wherever his help is needed, especially caring for the foals in the villages he visits, but he has not been able to fully trust anypony ever again, and he cannot allow anyone into his life, be it as a friend or lover, for fear what he might do to them or they to him. So he unconsciously surrounds himself with a snarky, abrasive personality and never lets on how muhc he truly cares for the ponies around him, because he really cares for all of them.
After finally settling down in Ponyville, about half a year after the defeat of Nightmare Moon, *heartwarming but edgy strong friendship with the mane 6 removed*, he finally manages to slowly overcome his trauma and stands with them when Mirabel returns to strike at her mother through harming her favourite student. Defeating her once more, this time with the help of the elements of harmony and without collateral damage, he manages to calm the waves between mother and daughter and finally find love again with a young guardsmare named Sunny Smiles.

Bio: Why are all of these so called smart students so bad at the important skills? Well. That's got to change.
Shimmering Scales was a scenographer. Coordinator of special effects, costume designer, tinker, and surprisingly good chef in her spare time, she made the show tick. Backstage where she belongs, and where she aimed to be since the day she got her Cutie Mark, but she's taking a break from her once and future home to work for the academy because, frankly, the paychecks there are enough to fund her own theater by the end of her contract.
When she got to the Academy, she was less than pleased at the 'best and brightest' of the country. No mechanical skills to create detailed clothing or innovative tools for home use, atrocious cooking, no sense of interior decorating, no awareness of the incredibly complex time and money economic balancing act that goes into maximizing the benefit of the home vs resources invested into it, and zero training with subconscious manipulation or hypnosis via environment design. What metrics are they using for 'best and brightest' anyways!?
No matter. They will learn. Those who catch on quickly? Well, they'll certainly be able to solve their own problems soon enough, but I'd be happy to give them pointers, extra lessons, or rig a few (major) things in their favor. Those who can't? I will work them to the bone, and if they try hard, they might learn something and get a decent grade. Those who refuse to try? I will break them, rebuild them from the ground up in remedial lessons, and if they're cooperative, I might not mess with their minds too much.
Personality: When she's allowed to be her, she's excitable and clever. When she's dealing with a classroom, she gives her instructions, then slinks around to inspect the work with a smile on her face. Whether that's because she's pleased with what she sees or in anticipation of tearing into a student who's slipped up is impossible to read until she does it. When working with the students she likes, she's helpful and generous in addition to excitable. One last note is that she likes to be in control of her little world. When you're disruptive, even if she likes you, bad things will happen.

esh, I didn't realized how much in a hurry I wrote my character. Here is a revised version of the character bio, and I had intentionally put a lot of ambiguity of his personalty so that Shukawarioserfi could adapt him to fit the story better and be creative of him, and I like characters how tend to be self-destructive. I hope it was enough.
Bio: Mix-up is a Prench foreign exchange student who was fling off to Equestria at the Academy, after accidentally destroying the chemistry lab of his old school when he was trying create a way to make clouds of different colors; suffice it to say he didn't succeed in that endeavor. Having influential parents in the school board, Mix-up school principal couldn't get rid that easily of him, so he tough to exile... uh... rewarded him with a mandatory foreign exchange program with a scholarship to the Academy... for an unspecified length of time, where he would be their problem to deal with instead of him. Having been soddenly sent to Equestria, with no chance to prepare himself for travel, he didn't had any prier lessons in speaking Equestrian, and has a hard time understanding the questions that are ask on the placement tests and sense no pony around him was good enough in Equestrian to tutor him, so he finds himself stuck in the F class. Whenever he can, he tries to practice his Equestrian with a pocket translation dictionary, in helping to understanding his study material better, but it is an uphill battle for him seeing he was at best en average student in his old school. Being dyslexics, Mix-up tense to get confused with instructions that he is given and ‘mix-up’ some of it if he is not carful and is one of the reasons that the lab exploded in his old school for mixing-up the wrong chemicals. Mix-up’s speaking Equestrian is at least understandable for the most part but he has a heavy Prench accent and his writhing is a nearly hopeless unintelligible mess. Mix-up like to think of himself as an artist (that is debatable), he likes to paint whenever he has the time to do so, he will always favor form over function when creating something, which can bring odd results and was dismayed to learn the fact that there was no art classes in the academy so there is no way that crank up his score for his Avatar like that. Mix-up’s Avatar is a miniature painter with a mustache, a comically oversized brush, with a painter’s pallet and beret.
