So I'm doing this for one of two reasons. First I wish to improve the overall quality of the fic. Meaning we're going to have to return to chapter 1. Number two ties in with number one, I wish to spread the word of Last of My Kind. Preferably EQD and other places just so that other people who don't use fimfic can read it.
I need people who know their shit. One's that would make worthy officers in my line of editors, that can spot a single comma splice that my eyes couldn't have noticed.
Now do not worry. The latest chapter will continue as planned.

Hm... I'd volunteer, but I feel as if my eyes are slipping. But hey if you want a secondary editor, hit me up. I have my resume on my page. But mnh. *shrugs*

I like how Kudzuhaiku does his editing. He writes his chapters on Google Docs, and a few hours before the chapter gets uploaded, he shares the link to the Google Doc for people to revise. The document is shared in Suggestion Mode so that you can review the edits before you apply them.
This method has the advantage of more people editing, but the disadvantage that the chapter is released early.

I'd be happy to spend some time editing. I like to think I have a sharp eye for matters of spelling and grammar; on the other hand, this would be my first official editing job, so I can't really guarantee quality
I would offer my assistance, but I'm a terrible editor. I get bored when I'm reading for something other than enjoyment, and I'm sad to say that I'd quickly tire of both the effort and, possibly, the story.

Long story short, I just miss so much shit if I PRE-READ something, yet I catch tons of stuff if I'm reading casually. If I catch anything I can totally point it out to you, if you wish. I'm more of an accidental spell/grammar checker just by chance.

I can do this if you use google docs. But if you don't use it and still hire me, my progress will be slowed down by a lot.
I also type on my phone, unless I need to edit some other stories, then I use my computer.

I'd love to, depending on the amount of hours you would like put in! I'm working on getting an English degree so I can become an editor, but, for that exact reason, I can't put a strenuous amount of time into projects like this! I can offer to edit portions, or, if you would rather, I can edit everything in longer periods of time!
