Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

Thank You For Reading! · 11:42pm Nov 30th, 2015

Well, we're at the 36-hour mark, and the feedback for this little one-shot has been near-unanimous praise. It got 500+ views, found its way onto more than 100 bookshelves, and it was a first for me on Fimfiction; my first story to surpass 50 upvotes without a single downvote, and is currently sitting at 62-1, or 98.4%, still my highest rated story.

A few of you even asked if I have any plans to continue it. Not at this time. My goal with this story was to expand on Starlight's childhood, and make her tragedy a bit more believable, and just a tad less petty than it appeared at first glance.

Based on your feedback, I managed to pull that off. You have no idea how happy I was to find that I was nowhere near alone in my yearning to enrich Starlight's backstory. But I never intended it to be anything more than a short expansion. We don't know where Starlight will go from here. We don't know if she'll ever see Sunburst again. For that, we'll have to wait for Season 6.

So again, thanks for reading, and I'm thrilled that you all enjoyed it for what it was.
